Brothels containing up to four prostitutes should be legalised to reduce rates of sexually transmitted diseases and protect women from violence, according to members of the Royal College of Nursing.

an overwhelming 93 per cent to 7per cent voted in favour of going ahead with the idea.

A spokesman for the Home Office said: "We are determined to shift the focus onto the sex buyer, the person responsible for creating the demand for prostitution markets which in turn creates demand for the vile trade of women being trafficked for sexual exploitation."

Now where have I heard that before!!

The person responsible for creating the demand for prostitution is God by making men get a hard on from women, even after they're married, so He's the person they should be going after. :(

I'm not really sure who thinks it shouldn't be legal apart from a bunch of labour MPs bulldozing stuff through.

With full respect to Nurses,

quite a few of the Ladies I've met believably claimed to be (ex-)health workers. Both jobs require a large amout of empathy to perform well. And in both jobs, the true stars seem to regard it as a "calling" rather then just a job.

(And I do know that posting on here may attract the wrong kind of attention from HM gov too...)

I've noticed this excess of ex-nurses too, and wondered about it. Is it the empathy factor, as you suggest, or just that nursing leads to a fairly robust view about bodies and bodily functions- useful if you become a wg?

And I suspect plenty of nurses supplement lousy pay while training with a bit of "work" on the side.

Everyone knows that Nurses do the business :(

They see their share of pain, suffering and death, which subconsciously stimulates the desire to procreate, I believe.
