Viagra from Tescos!

Will you be buying Viagra from your local Tesco?

I read that men travel 100s of miles to buy Viagra at Tesco because they were too embarrassed to ask for a prescription from their Dr.

Is it not more embarrassing to buy it in a crowded supermarket ?

*remembers to frisk visitors for Tesco recipts before agreeing to anything!

Good luck guys at least you wont be poisoning yourself with reconstituted slug pellets from India!

Every little helps!!!!!!!

I thought Tescos were like rats, there was always one within ten feet of you. So I'm surprised at 100s of miles. Or are they only on sale at selected stores ?

Don't be suprised.

They piloted the sales at a few chosen stores which is why people travelled- if indeed they did- 100's of miles according to the newspaper that ran the article.

I buy mine from my local Tesco Pharmacy but WITH a private prescription from my Doctor. Go and see your GP and ask him / her for a precription. They do a few simple tests and you get a prescription whch can normally be renewed without further visits. If you have low blood pressure or other problems then you shouldn't be taking it anyhow. I can't believe that some people are scared to see their Dr about Viagra. They see people with terminal cancer and with growths on their heads the size of a cauliflower! - you are not unusual or very interesting and they certainly will not inform your partner or anyone else. Why would anyone want to drive 100 miles or worse buy it on-line for something available locally.

Do you think the price is due to " inflation ". :)

Oh I do like that. Got one of the ruddy things round the corner now (the corner without a corner shop on it any more).

I really dont see the fuss.

Where else can we buy 38 different varieties of milk, 154 types of Jam, 107 different pastas and 98 different fruits at 3.02 a.m. on a winter morning?

Supermarkets are wonderful.

Corner shop is a business. A business must evolve and compete or they go out of business. They didnt so they did!

It happens in all business.

Not all Tescos do my local Tesco was a Safeway but was sold to Tesco by Morrisons as there was a Morrisons within half a mile.

Over the years the range has deteriorated. You used to be able to get the latest books, CDs and videos. Now you only get them when in the best sellers list (or when they are on 'special offer').

The big 5 supermarkets cherry pick the best sellers reducing the range. Coming across something new by surprise has almost disappeared. My weekly Tesco has all the fun of filling up with petrol. The only fun is which item I bought ages ago will I get a voucher for?

Ahh the arrogance of youth.

From this I assume you want to die young. (Something to be said for that as well - stay pretty etc....)

Have you got a link then ? I haven't seen it for that price online.

I paid just over a pound-a-tab, and use half-a-tab at the most for a single session.

kamagranow.com (I have no connection with them other than as a customer)

It's the same stuff.

No it is not.

Kamagra is a generic copy by an Indian pharmaceutical company called Ajanta. Original Viagra which Tesco's will be selling is manufactured by Pfizer.

Whilst Kamagra does work, it isn't as good as the original. I have used both.

Did you hear about the Irishman who returned his Kamagra gel saying it didn't work ?

He complained that after rubbing it on his cock, nothing happened. :P

Def less embarrasing, used to buy Condoms from supermarket, when was younger (probably would still if I had too), as you could at least just put them in the basket an not have to ask the young girl behind counter of small store/ Chemist.

I can just imagine those traveling 100 miles to buy Viagra, deciding to use the self service checkout to avoid "embarrassment", only for lights to start flashing and a memebr a staff rushing over to verify age .. LOL

Excellent news, in time the price for viagra will come way way down. Just like the price of a shag. Who pays for porn these days?

Gosh I'm really suprised at that.

Drs see such unutterable sights and as I read somewhere on here, being able to maintain an erection is of absolutley no interest to him as a Doctor. Its just not interesting enough for him He wont want to photograph it, phone a friend about it, twitter about it, make friends with it on facebook, or talk about it with the receptionist on coffee break. BTW Tesco do a Diabetes test before they will sell it to you, Its not much different to the Drs just more convenient and cheaper. The Dr will do more tests and you can take the scription to Tesco

Its Just another little soldier who wants help getting out of bed so to speak!

The Dr will give you the once over for everything else before he prescribes Viagra or anything else. Its worth going just for your M.O.T. isn't it? It could save your life.

It is a business, but they lack personality. I remember as a child it would take hours for my Mum and Gran to do the shopping, as they moved from one shop to the next having a good old gossip with each shop owner. I would be bored, but now and again a nice shop owner would offer me a sweet or something and pat my head commenting on how quickly I was growing.

I kind of miss that. (the familiarity, not having my head patted).

Absolutely right.

I went today. Walnuts checked, lower abdomen and bottom of legs checked (blood flow/pulse etc.), reactions checked, no need for cholesterol and blood sugar check for me as I have them done every year anyway. Further blood test, non-urgent, suggested to check hormones etc.

It was really no hassle at all, although I would generally prefer not to have a doctor physically examining my bits. Doctor was not at all phased and I walked out with a prescription. Chemists branch was big enough that it's completely discrete even though I waited for the prescription to be completed.

I can't see why Tesco would be any more discrete really? Next time round I will just buy from cheapest source wherever that is, shop or an on-line site that fulfills prescriptions.

Unless Tescos use vending machines to sell Viagra, I can't see how travelling 100 miles for a Tesco would help prevent embarrassment.

Tesco's are out to stiff you. They will not be lowering the price of Viagra, so what is the big deal? Deal or no deal? No deal!

I buy Kamagra from a London based web site for for less than a pound a pill, and it contains identical active ingredients. No brainer. Just Google Kamagra London. :)

Thanks for the info, Helen. Tesco only dispenses stuff where they have an instore pharmacy and even a huge 24 Hour Tesco near me does not have a pharmacy. There was a comment in the travel section that Tesco was a relatively cheap supplier of Malarone (an anti-malarial) so I suspected that they would start supplying viagra. I would be relatively confident that Tesco is supplying legitimate product and I would not want information on my medical record with my GP (my wife uses the same GP)...Tesco here I come...

Jack

BTW I liked the joke!
