Should we give working girls a tip?

If you are in a restaurant, hairdressers or hotel you give a tip for good service.

Should we give working girls a tip for good service and if we do what should the tip be?:D

I personally don't - after all you are paying the girls handsomely for the service. It's not like a waiter or hotel bell boy on minimum wage.

Not sure I agree tbh...... I guess it depends on circumstances.

For example... girls usually tip hairdressers and nail technicians etc even if they are self-employed. Its a thank you for a job well done I suppose.

Also.... and this is something I wasnt aware of until recently. I recently looked into escort agencies as I work as a lapdancer but often get propositioned at work and also online as I am also a female bodybuilder. I wondered about escorting on a regular basis and of two agencies I spoke to, one charges £150 and pays you £120 but you have to pay for your own taxis etc which is expensive where I live. The other charges £130-180, provides a driver (so safer) but only pays you £60 an hour! So.... You MAY be paying the handsome sum of £180 but it dnt mean the girl is getting paid that.

Needless to say I wont be registering with any agencies lol....

I think independents are free to set their own rates; I don't quibble and I don't tip, though if she is a regular, I may give her a little extra of my time!

However, in MK if I have a really good half hour for £60 (it's never happened to me anywhere else in recent years) I do add a fiver. Still bloody good value.

We tip taxi drivers for doing their job, likewise waiters/waitresses, even if the service is awful - some even add it on upfront and dare us to challenge it (some don't even get the tip but I'm not going there).

So with working girls, I tend not to tip on an individual visit basis, rather remember birthdays and Christmas, plus find out what they like and bring a gift now and again - naturally this applies to girls that you see on a regular basis. I did actually offer quite a generous tip to a girl that I saw in Woking for the first time earlier in the year, only to have it declined on the basis that I should just come and see her again, which of course I did, and am still doing. Clever trick on her part? I don't think so, plus she doesn't need it as she is always fully-booked - just a good, honest girl (I'm sure many fans have already guessed the name by now).

I used to give a £20 tip in advance, but my regular at the time started to take it and me for granted and take advantage of me being new to punting. Seeing other girls at the same time made me realise what a soft touch I must have seemed to her.

This experience has left me somewhat cynical in my approach to punting. Now I initially trust no one and believe nothing I'm told during a punt. If after 3 or 4 punts with the same girl the level of service has not declined and we get on really well I might start to tip again.

In which case i think you will find you paid for extras. A tip is something you give at the end when no further service is required.

If the punt is £150 and I only have twenties, then I'll give £160 and tell her to keep the £10 change.

I don't give tips on purpose though. I don't tip in restaurants etc either.

Only the odd occasion where it's been £150 and I've only had £160 (e.g. in twenties), I've never even been offered change, so giving a "tip" doesn't come into it !!!

I've always been offered change for £160 on a £150 punt!

I only sleep with oriental girls though. Haven't tried a european one yet but I imagine I'd get no change lol.

Me thinks that would depend on how much is being charged and who is paying. :D

I've occassionally been given too much money and not counted it until the end of the meet, where I have expressed it is too much and been told to keep it, which is very sweet, but I don't think tips are expected or necessary, just very nice when it happens.

We (or I) know it isn't cheap and only hope that as punters you feel you are getting value for money.

Why not? If you think she was worth it?

I don't tip generally, but have done once or twice when particularly swept away with the experience.

Her tip is that I make another booking with her if she was good. :D

However I have paid a little extra on a few occassions if I felt the girl could do with an extra few quid and she was nice and gave good service.
