It’s not quite as simple as that methinks! Sure, if you just want to reply to a single post then click on ‘Reply’, but if you want to multi-quote, you need to click on ‘MultiQuote’ for all the posts concerned and then go to the top of the page and click on that little green clockwise-rotating arrow thing - or, at least, that’s what I’ve had to do to do this! :)

Can you post without automatically quoting the previous post?

(Yes I know you can just delete the text, but with the old boards you could just click 'reply' instead of 'quote' which did this)

Yes, you just click in the 'Fast Reply' section at the bottom of the page.

There’s a little green clockwise-rotating arrow thing as you put it at the bottom of the page as well which is useful if you’re near the bottom of a long thread.

Yes just use the same little green clockwise-rotating arrow thing as described above (it took me a while to find it).

Cool - I now have 2 ways to do something that I didn't know how to do before.

There should be a button where the green arrow is, but it's not showing. Same with the button next to it.

The green arrow is the button, with a start new thread symbol/button next to it, or at least it is for me I don't know if my settings are different to yours

Is there a 'New Posts' link anywhere? - can't find that. I use to use it all the time to read all the new posts since previous login.

Agreed, it's actually more user friendly than on a pc IMO.

could the new replies not go at the top of thread? like they used to.. instead of scrolling down to the bottom like now?

it was much better that way .

From memory, that was a setting in the control panel in the old system. I liked that too, but I can't find how to set that in the new forum.

When Steve2's post first appeared it had a little animated picture in it just below the "Like this?". That seems to have vanished!!
