Took The Plunge.... Joined An Agency!

26 posts in this topic

Hmmm ok.... been running it over in my head for years tbh.

As some may have seen in previous threads I've worked as a lapdancer for years and am a female bodybuiler/figure girl. As such I've done occasional/random/inconsistent... well... would you call it escorting? Who knows. Ppl have made me offers at times and sometimes I've accepted and other times not. Sometimes straightforward offers after lapdancing "I'll pay "X" amount if you'll come to this hotel room after work" and other times more specific to athletic/muscular girls with or without domination factor etc...

Anyway I always baulked at the idea of an agency and not having control over who I see, and also being listed online anywhere. However after careful research and speaking to the owner on and off for a while and discussing things (bless their patience) I've agreed to take the plunge.

So... reason for the thread... I've done my research as thoroughly as I can and I know other girls who escort obviously through dancing etc... But from both the escort and the clients point of view, are there any particular aspects of being with an agency you think I should look out for or be aware of? :)

PS Please dont reply with "which one" or asking for a link as I am pretty darned certain thats against the rules lol and I dont wanna get in trouble!

Joining an agency is a good way to get started.

I think you are being a little naive if you think you can chose your clients not to mention how the other girls you will work with may think about that.

Take a look at the saafe site that is always fab for newbies into the industry loads of advice in there.

And best of luck! Hope you find it is for you!

Does the agency work on the lines of "Right Cloudy, get your sussies on and your lube out and be ready for Mr Bloggs who will be with you directly"? or "Cloudy, there is a Mr Bloggs who would like to see you at 14:30 this afternoon [including any relevant details], do you want to see him?"?

Make sure that the client pays you with cash, no matter what he says or what the agency says. Never accept a cheque, even if the agency say that it's OK. Never go to a booking if the agency say that the client has paid them by credit card and they'll settle up with you later.

As Sabrina says - read the SAAFE site. There's lots of useful info for anyone starting up in the business.

As previous posters have mentioned, get yourself over to the Saafe site and take in as much information as

possible. I would also say you should arm yourself with a buddy ( you'll find details on Saafe ). This will be a lady

you can bounce ideas around with, someone who has a bit of experience and doesn't mind how silly or personal the

questions are.

The best of luck. :)

Either with or without an agency you don't get much choice about who you see, it's not like a lap dancing club wheere you meet them for a booking. All you can really do pick or choise wise is exclude certain groups, age or race wise etc. My personal thoughts are that though an agency is good for a beginner in the end you're better going indie, why give your earnings to someone else, as others have said, Saafe is a good idea.

The only way to have control over who you see is to be independent.

I would also imagine she'll need a bit of flexibility to fit around training, and eating whilst competing which can take up a lot of time and energy!

At a slight tangent, do you think, from your experience of the industry, that it is common for dancers to earn money on the side in this way? (No doubt many offers are made, but are they accepted?)

Four tips i have from my agency days are

a) if you fuck the boss you will not get more work (not saying you would do that, some boss's are that sleazy though)and dont take any notice of the girls that do, they tend to take on airs and graces for a while (till the next one comes along)

B) make sure the driver really does wait outside the entire time you are in the booking.x

c) if you go on multiple girl bookings, dont take any notice of what the other girls are doing, if they want to waste their clients time then that is not your problem, you concentrate on making your guy happy, other girls can get you into trouble if you let them

d) if a client asks for some/a party girl double check what he wants as some guys use that as a code for a girl that will drink or do drugs (usually coke) with them.

Other than that good luck, i had some really fun times during my agency days.xxx

I would advise working for an agency at first even if you intend to go indie fairly soon.

I wasn't suggesting she go Indie to begin with, I think to learn the ropes in an agency is a good start.

What I meant was, even as an agency girl it would be a good idea to have a buddy who has nothing to do with the

agency or any of the bitchy politics therein. ;)

Yup... the guy who owns it said same.... no matter what the client may say the agency will never ever make any different arrangement other than cash at the start of the appointment :)

I was told we can refuse a booking but I imgine they'd get pretty hacked off if you did it regularly lol..... owner also said they'll never pester you off shift if they're short etc too as they recognise you have a private life and so on...

It does happen occasionally but the girls would keep it VERY quiet as most clubs will sack you for it.

I know a couple of girls who see certain clients regularly outside work that they met while dancing though. I very much doubt theres much of it happens the same night kind of thing.... more that they dance for someone regularly and it develops from there....

However, I'd estimate that about 70-80% of the girls I've danced with over the years would never even entertain the idea.

As far as I can tell so far, the owner seems decent and pretty upfront. He actually brought up the issue of owners/managers trying it on with girls and said it'll never happen with him. He said almost word for word what you did above.... no matter what ppl may try and tell you, giving the boss a free blow job never gets you more bookings lol....

The agency doesnt use drivers - he said had probs with them always trying it on with the girls etc lol. However I know plenty lads I could pay to drive me around if I felt the need but that would mean telling someone what am doing other than my best mate.... tbh though am quite happy driving myself. They seem pretty on the ball with their system of checking where you are etc, and they said that if you dont check in and they call and you dont answer, someone is sent to the address immediately while they keep trying to get you on the phone.

However.... just in case this is an exaggeration, I plan to double up my checking in. I'll check in with the agency and also my best mate who owns the gym I train in and isnt someone to be messed with lol. He'll have the address via text of every single booking I go to and I will check in with him on arrival and leaving until I know I can trust the agency. He's also offered to drive for me if I wanted but as I see I dont really think its needed?

Out of interest, how much did guys offer you and for how long?

Totally varies but usually they offer a lot more than escorts charge per hour lol... I suppose because they are trying to persuade you to do something that you're not supposed to be doing, plus the fact that we charge £240 for a one hour dance so they know they're gonna have to top that by a fair bit :P

Fact of the matter is though... they OFFER it but you'd have to be a bit thick to believe they're carrying that amount of cash around on them. You get the odd guy who does but the majority pay for their dances by card.

Obviously the agency rates are going to be much less but I am hoping to get regular bookings... however thus far I've not accepted less than £250 per hour for any invitation...

To be honest, i would advise paying someone to drive you, wait just up the road in the car and to drive you home again. Having a guy at the gym is no substitution for a big bloke in a car right outside ready to kick the door in if you dont give the all clear, or walk out the door on time. You may not be able to get to your phone to call someone, at least if a guy is outside, if you are not out the door on the time, he will call, if you dont answer he will knock the door, if the knock isnt answered he will call the police and kick in the door, not trying to scare you but if you really are in a dicey situation, minutes can count.xxx
