Question For The Girls

3 posts in this topic

For those of you who have worked for an agency.

When you first registered did you find it slow to start? Or were you busy due to being new and a novelty?

If it was slow how long roughly before it picked up and was more consistent/worthwhile and if you were busy due to being the newbie did it then die down and what happened then?

Just curious to see whats the norm.... :)

I think when you first join an agency, the reputation of the place exceeds the reputation of the lady. So if a fantastic lady joins a quiet, smaller agency, then she can't expect to be busy from the off. Whereas as a lady less experienced could join a busy agency, be popular due to being a novelty, with business dwindling due to the unprofessional level of service. That's why it is so important to research the agency you are using/working with, because a personal reputation isn't always enough to guarantee work.
