American Porn Stars Escorting

19 posts in this topic

Hi All

Just read an article on the web today about some top name porn stars that have contracted the HIV aids virus and are now not working (and haven't worked for the top studios for a while and probably won't again) - it named the real big names (16 in total) and how the certification system works (ie timescales between tests and how long a girl can work infected)

Just by chance I was going through a few websites and some of these girls are now escorting - appreciate that sex will be covered but still a concern

I don't think it's right to name the girls or agencies on here as the information came from the web but it looks pretty conclusive and as some of the girls where top stars it did seem weird at the time that they just stopped appearing on new films

Suggest anyone considering using an escort that falls into this section should research on the web and make their own minds up

Funny thing, that, as I was just reading an article on the web today about the whole world being secretly controlled by a conspiracy of Freemasons who were responsible for the assassination of JFK etc etc.

Both articles are bullshit, but the '16 HIV pornstars' urban myth is much nastier because it has led to individuals being fingered on the basis of no evidence.

The real origin of this rumour was a report by Los Angeles health officials in June 2009, claiming that there were 16 unnamed individuals with HIV in the local porn industry. They based this claim on data supplied by the Adult Industry Medical Healthcare Foundation (AIM), which screens porn performers for stds. What the LA officials failed to mention was that not one of these 16 was an active porn performer: they were all wannabes (mostly male) who had been rejected from porn work, having tested positive for HIV. AIM later pointed this out, but by that time the '16 infected pornstars' story had taken off and was seized upon both by anti-porn campaigners and by rumour mongers who started throwing names around until speculation quickly became 'well-known fact' on the web.

The worst of it is that two actresses in particular were repeatedly named. One because she lost a little weight, the other because she took a bit of time out from the industry (because she was pregnant). Yes, that's all it takes, on the web rumour-mill, for someone's HIV status to become 'established'! One of these ladies has done escort tours here. She has vehemently denied the rumour, and has spoken of possible legal action - from which I hope she makes a fortune.

Superb post Chris. However i have to pick you up on one comment 'it has led to individuals being fingered on the basis of no evidence.'

Now i've watched a bit of porn & i have seen plenty of evidence of people being fingered :D:D

I was in LA in November and it was all over the news that the big studios had shut down for a period as one of their "stars" had tested positive. No names were given out though.

Yes, there was a case there in October. But this was not a 'star' in the accepted sense, i. e. a well-known female performer. It was a bit-part male performer who seems to have picked up the virus in his private life, not through work. All other performers who had worked with him recently were double-tested, then all who had worked with that lot, i/e. a second 'generation' of contacts. All tested negative. The unsensational facts of the case are helpfully summarised on the AIM website.

And I managed to get through this post without mentioning f***ers.

A case of never letting the facts get in the way of a good story?

Indeed, she was one that's always been on my list. But I agree, the price will be crazy.

Actually the reverse, Brit working in US. I would love to have seen Layla Jade before she moved to the US. I believe that she used to escort and was based in Torquay - maybe rented a room from Basil? I'm sure that some lucky punters on here must have had the pleasure?

Sophie Moon is advertising on one UK site. I think all of them are worth avoiding for the the potential risks, seeing what they have been getting up to.

£500 for the hour, £800 for 2 + £200 extra for filming
