Reverse Bookings

16 posts in this topic

For my next punt I chose to use the other site and give their reverse booking system a go.

I can't believe the response I got and had to choose one girl over the 30 odd who bid. I just felt really guilty that some of them had obviously spent time writing the text to go with their bid (some were blank or obviously copypasta) and I didn't choose them.

I just wish the site din't get rid of your auction as soon as you accept them becasue I really feel the need to write to the ones who took the time to write something specific to thank them and explain why I didn't choose them.

Does anyone else think like this or am I just mental?

Hi there - I've used the reverse booking functionality over there a few times and agree with you - first time I accepted a booking and everything closed down and all other bids disappeared!

Now I don't accept any directly but liaise via private mail followed up by a call.

I've had some great deals via the reverse booking system, I fully recommend it!

Simple...reply to the ones you dont accept but want to thank for bidding first, and then accept the bid you want...best of both worlds.

yeah am also a fan of the reverse booking system-- though you do get peeps who don't read your requirements and just put in random bids which generaly makes me laugh. I had my best punting experience through the reverse booking system with an escort I'd be thinking about meeting for a while but hadn't gotten round to it.

Yes I was really surprised at the people who bid many of whom I would never have found with a regular search. I like longer bookings (2hrs or more if I can afford it) but even so I was suprised at the distance some were prepared to travel. It also eliminates the issue of the fake profiles.

But not entirely unfortunately - I've had plenty of bids from clearly fake profiles just trying to get me to purchase access to their private pictures.

I also agree I do feel guilty about turning down bids - they really should provide a facility to provide an automatic response...

Another way round it is to encourage messages sent directly to you with why you should pick them. That way you are able to contact all of them and possibly build in a back up plan, should plan A not follow through. Often ladies will apply for something and in the mean time may get a booking at their normal rate and pull out, so always a good idea to have a plan B.

It also shows which ladies are reading the text and responding and which ones are randomly applying for anything in their area without giving it much thought to if they are free or really want to do it.

I rarely check the reverse bookings, but have had one or too very successful meets from it back when I was a real newbie and feeling my feet. It can work well for both sides, as we too get a lot of timewasters and can be more assured that if your bid comes through it is more likely to happen.

But I worry how does the lady feel about being my plan B or even C, D etc?

With so many choices, if one is accepted but the lady has to pull out (for whatever reason), how best should we approach the next choice who will clearly know she wasn't first choice - is it best to be honest and say you've been let down.

I guess for them its just another booking which they can take it or leave it?

It's not nice to be plan B I'm sure, but it's not like you're their one and only client either, so the girls will understand!

No need to worry! If they're any good then they should have other business to replace you.

There is usually a valid reason why you may be plan B. It could be location, age, services or anything really and the least likely thing is going to be looks and never down to personality, as you haven't met. It is better to be aware that you might be needed than called up last minute and then at least if the person is still free and able you are more likely to have a back up plan that works.

Remember for us it is business and not about being second best.

I have just done a reverse bid and got some very interesting replies. I sent a message of thanks to all of those gilrs who took the trouble to send me a message and who I might genuinely want to meet in future. I saved their details on my hot list for future reference. I simply deleted those who bid at a higher price than their normal quoted rates!

Hmm interesting - I actually chose a girl who bid more than her usual rate. I asked her about it (before I accepted) and she said that she was happy to do extra time for the money I'd asked for, or to do it at her usual rate. So I got an extra half an hour of WG lovliness for the money I'd budgeted!

That really irritates me - such bids are never accepted by me! On the other hand, you'll often get plenty of excellent bids for lower than the price they advertise/your bid which makes it well worthwhile.

It's the girl who don't do what you specifically ask for in your post that annoy me. On mine I specifically said CIM and (optional) swallow, and I still got bids that when I mailed and asked said, oh no, I don't do either of those. The shame was she was gorgeous too, and was ready to book her until I noticed that :(

The girl who felt the need to tell me that Christmas was a busy time and that I should book fast to avoid disappointment didn't get a second look either. I like a girl who plans ahead, but still...

If it is a longer booking and looks fun, (not a bog standard blank one), I am happy to travel a long way if the location is somewhere I would like to go. I take it as an opportunity for a mini-break with benefits.

I live in Kent and am happy to travel to the West Country or the Midlands. Maybe even a visit to Scotland in the summer if something good comes along. So gentlemen, never dismiss the "good god she lives 100's of miles away" bids out of hand. You never know.
