I recently booked a punt with a girl who I'd met before and was really keen to meet again. However as she had changed location, and as I am always a little apprehensive about not beaing able to find the address in the given time, I scouted out the address half an hour before the punt. I was horrified to discover that the entrance to her flat was right next to a place where I knew people. However much I wanted to see this girl again, there was no way I was going to risk being seen going inside that building, and so I phoned up the agency and made an excuse.

Have you ever refused to go inside a building for a punt because you might be discovered, or turned back because the place looked too scuzzy, or even because the are was scary?

I once was given a text on a girls address and realised that my friends girlfriend lived in the same flat! I had been there before with my friend but going alone to an address where my mates girl lives in was a bit dodgy. Her floor was the one below my mates girlfriend and I decided to take a risk and go in, hoping that either she doesn't show up or worse my mate doesn;t turns up anywhere near the entrance with me walking out! Would be an epic fail.

Can't blame you for taking the safe option though.

Any clues on which girl? :P (PM me!)

Oh God that reminds me of the most embarrasing and annoying booking I never had!!! I had a guy send me loads of messages prior to the booking and finally the time came and he didn't show up. I sent him a text shortly after the time he was meant to be coming and I was told that he thought it looked like no one lived at the house so he turned back.

I had told him that my garden was being worked on, as the fence was being replaced and I was expecting a lorry to come and collect all the things I had cleared out of the garage etc (He was coming into the house via the side/back garden, so had pre-warned him it was a bit of a mess. I can assure you it was not the same on the inside though.

I'm not sure what you are meant to do when having work done on your home though. It was a strange situation and ironic, as I could only afford to get the work done due to the Escorting and I was trying to improve my environment.

I have never heard from the client again since and the feedback he has is reasonable, so I'm assuming he is a decent enough man, if not a tad judgemental?

Damn, I forgot all about the wig and fake moustache I had tucked in my pocket. ;) These are, of course, essential punting equipment.

Something must have given him the willies, or maybe he just got cold feet at the last moment.

There has been a few times the address is in a dark and dingy location which has made me stop for a moment, but I usually go on. What rally scares me are very public entrances. I used to visit Les Girls at Blore Court until they built the office right next door to it -- every time I passed by there seemed to several office workers smoking right by the Les Girls entrance.

This is one reason why you shouldn't send lots and lots of messages before a booking. Being that if you do change your mind, the lady may then assume you are a TW. It also makes her feel she has put in a lot of effort, for you to find something amiss that is external to her.

Quite understand your reluctance to risk having cover blown, but why make an excuse (that's what a journalist does), rather than simply tell the truth?

I once aborted a punt at the last minute because there was a copper standing on the corner at the end of the street. Probably not out looking to nick punters but I was taking no chances. <_<

This is my main problem when punting, especially for local punts. Before you've made a booking ladies are reluctant to give out an address, even a road name sometimes, yet I'm reluctant to make that booking unless I know exactly where I'm going and where I'm parking.

I understand why ladies hold back on revealing their address until just before the booking, but the last thing I want to do is let them down and cancel at the last minute, when it turns out they're living right next to someone I know.

A now defunct but good agency used flats in a big housing association block; the kind with access via covered walkways. I looking for a flat I had not visited before when I came across a trio of suits and clip boards inspecting some empty places. One of them was a girl from my sports club. She waved and luckily I managed to wave back and walk on. She never mentioned it and I guess my being normal raised no questions.

I have punted in some shitholes but had a good laugh in some of them. I was a bit put off a couple of years ago when a party venue was a unit on an industrial estate in the basement. The unit opposite knew what was going on and a guy shouted "give her one for me" as i was walking in, i had driven across London so went ahead regardless.

I never agree to see lady until they provide a rough address ie at least what street they live in... this helps reduce the risk of bumping into someone I know or worse still the wife knows.. i am lucky in that i have an excuse to visit peoples homes at night but still prefer not to take too many risks

I was very interested in a girl working for Bunnies of London who was located at Marble Arch. I lost interest very quickly when I learned that she was actually in the same mansion block as my client.

When i make a booking with an escort, I always ask her, for a rough idea, ie street name

So if anyone I know stays near by, I wont be able toi make booking

Last year, found this very attractive escort, 19 yrs old, and sex on legs, she gave me the address, quite alot of flats in the street, now I knew my niece, stayed in the same street

sent the escort roughly where my neice stays, and she replied few minutes later, telling me, thats motre or less where she is, so I had to cancel the booking, and I was so looking forward

I get + reply text msg when walking to door.

lady opens, lets me in rather quick.

then sees me fiddling phone. says: you are not taking pictures are you... ???

please switch off phone now! completely!

she was rather edgy from that point on.

converstation total disaster, she kept on going about the phone..

somehow, trust was gone. I hadnt paid yet.

made exuses and left.

pity. her pics and feedback were rather good.

Agree with you. Very annoying to be told 'ring me when you get here... then here...etc' As if the lady can tell where you are when you call. It makes no difference to their security. If you want to string the person along you could do it just as easily. I made one appointment in Paddington and was asked to ring at various places. It made my journey more complicated and I wouldnt have wanted to walk the 2 miles. I told her my mobile was low on battery. I even went to a call box (you only get seconds in a phone box to a mobile number for 50p I nva new) my time rang out and I gave up At the end I hoped she'd been inconvenanced to some extent that I had. This can make the difference between a punter arriving in a good mood and another feeling fustrated about going through too many hoops. I swore never to do similar but have broken this ... :-(

For me, seeing the client from my window makes me feel safer, as I don't think he's a gang, or one of the photographed dangerous Punters. It also creates a sense of anticipation for me.

Sometimes, a bit of empathy is priceless & yields great rewards.
