Becoming A Male Service Provider

14 posts in this topic

In an idle moment, being unemployed and free to do these things, I got to thinking that I could become a male SP.

So, using the purple site, I looked for males who offer incalls with Women, as I don't want to do nor offer anal, nor give BJs, just shag and go down on ladies.

2816 matches, so a lot of competition, but then I noticed how few of these had any feedback.....

So, I sort of conclude that I could become an SP, but that my services to only women with no A, would not be highly sought after.

A pity really, I would have applied to the Job Centre for re-training!

I'm afraid that there really is only a miniscule market for straight males. As you saw there area a lot of male wannabees, and a lot of the small amount of feedback they get is often them seeking services i.e. hiring a female escort themselves.

I've been asked by several clients, as well as several male escorts contact me asking how to be a successful male escort. I have provided some advice and no-one has come back with tales of women clamouring to see them. One particular chap asked me to look at his profile, when I did he'd advertised for twice as long as I had, but only had 10% of the views. What does that tell you?His photos showed a fit physique, and his rates weren't sky high either. He'd had zero actual bookings, and his only feedback was from escorts he'd hired.

The male escort urban myth abounds, supported by media articles(often the journalist is the Escort's first and only booking)in publications often carrying adverts for scam agencies. By this I mean agencies that promise oodles of clients, take an upfront fee and guess what?you never get any bookings after that.

I have heard there may be a small market in London, as an Escort however your client will expect you to service them at demand, for long periods of time possibly with repeat performances(remember women can keep going). I'd be interested to see if many males can do this!

the only male escort i've ever spoken to that actually had a booking was a bi male who had a booking with a couple!

As strawberry says, most of them only have feedback as service seekers.

I get so many emails and texts from guys saying they are male escorts and will I work with them...gets kinda tedious.

Minxy

Do you think the OP was posting in a light-hearted manner? If so it's quite funny really. Unfortunately the Job Centre aren't allowed to promote jobs in the adult sector. I think there were a couple of cases a short while back, where they got into trouble for carrying ads for Escort agencies and adult sex lines.

I know a very successful male escort (not sure that we aren't breaking the rules here discussing this), but anyway. He is only popular because he is a very good looking distinguished silver haired 60 something gentleman that can speak about 10 languages. he accompanies business women abroad and makes a damn good living out of it.

To keep this inside the rules, he also books female escorts for his own pleasure because he likes to be slightly dominant and can't do that with his clients.

I only know of one other male escort thats done anything like ok and thats because he's pretty popular with the female escorts who like using him for their personal galleries on the purple site. How on earth can a guy make money at it when most are willing to give it away for free?

Worked as a companion/chaperone when posted to Washington - had a good time - sometimes meet American ladies when they are over here - the agency network over here is a 'con' - would like to try again - any reliable agencies please?

Unless the guy is gay or bi or a porn star, there is no market. If you join an agency you will be scammed. Women have no need to pay.

Correction - there are male escorts making a good living (alledgedly) in Wetherfield. Ring Audrey Roberts.

I suggest watching Midnight Cowboy. It's a great film, but the story about a man trying to be a stud in NYC in the early 70s would still ring true in 2011 London.

I had a client recently who was a former straight male escort. Obviously I can't know for sure that he was telling the truth, but he seemed honest and didn't claim anything outrageous. He said that he'd never been able to make a living out of it, it was a part time thing that made him a little extra money. He was a qualified beauty & massage therapist which helped, but even so he said nearly all his bookings were men who wanted to watch their wife/girlfriend with another man. So it depends how rigid your definition of 'straight' is I guess :P

A person I am related to had a boyfriend who she left when she found out he had been working as a straight male escort behind her back. I was quite young at the time so I dont' remember the details, but I do know that he was working in London, had only three clients that she ever found out about, and was mostly being paid in designer clothing rather than cash. Oh, he was also very very good looking by conventional standards - body builder, tall, most of my friends fancied him (I was in my preteens when they were still together), though I thought he looked stupid tbh.

So it can be done, and you can get something out of it, but it's unlikely ever to become your full time job. And you probably need to have special skills and/or perfect looks to even manage that.

I agree with Lessingham - and would also suggest that you contrast Midnight Cowboy with American Gigolo.

The Hollywood stylised image of a Mercedes driving, perfectly groomed, body beautiful & educated Richard Gere counterposes wonderfully with the lowdown character played by John Voight.

Unless the OP is in the Richard Gere catagory I feel he will find it difficult to make even a modest income as a straight male escort.
