First Name Terms ! - Wg Introductions/ Mentioning Your Name During A Punt

38 posts in this topic

Having just browsed through another thread about What Makes a Great Punting Experience, it got me thinking about how many times a WG has mentioned my name, or hers, during a punt. I have now had 23 punts in a 5 month window, and I do not remember a first meeting where a WG formerly introduced herself [by here false name or otherwise] when I met her, or ever mentioned or asked my name during a punt.

Personally I have never given this a second thought and it’s never been a problem for me, but I am interested in what others experiences and thoughts are. I realise that all WGs work under a false name so I do feel a bit strange referring to them by it because it’s not really them, but I suspect many punters do use their real fist names, and it is nice when a girl remembers it and mentions it when she at least meets you. Obviously a few regulars have mentioned my name, but I cannot ever remember my name been mentioned on a first visit. I think it would be nice if girls do make more of an effort to actually remember their punters name when they enter the room [at least] as it shows respect and professionalism!

Your thoughts appreciated B)

...... oh and I think its important to state I can only speak of my experience with parlour bookings, so I would imagine that its possibly different with Indies ?

yes it is nice when they remember your name and use it. a lot call you babe or hun in the manchester area.

a few of my regular girls do call me by name though and it is ten times better.

Hi

I can only speak from my experience as an indie but I always use first name when a new client approaches the door. Apart from being friendly, it confirms you are the right person and not someone who is lost or about to sell me double glazing. Those situations don't often happen anyway(if at all), but I once read about a lady assuming her caller was her client and it turned out to be a neighbour wanting to borrow some sugar! So it makes sense to say "Hi Joe?" plus it's more friendly that way. Some of my clients do know me by my first name, but to be honest that can feel a bit odd since Ruth is second nature to me now as well as part of a different bit of my life. I don't mind what name clients use as long as they remember. Sometimes a chap will book using one name, then not turn up or mess around. He'll phone back a few weeks or months later, introduce via a different name and do exactly the same. By the third time I'm saying "I think you've booked with me before, but you couldn't make it?will you be ok this time?" and they just deny it "I've never booked you before". I usually ask which name they'd like this time. This behaviour means he's probably not going to turn up I'm afraid. It could be genuine nerves, but it's as if they think I'm daft!

A lot of guys never even give me their name when booking....not even a fake one! It would therefore be hard to mention it during the booking!

What really makes me laugh are the guys that contact you a second or third time and they have forgotten what name they used before and give you a different one!

In everyday life I don't tend to call people by their name much unless trying to get their attention so it would feel fake during a booking. I'd like to think I'd have your attention at that time anyway ;)

I'm quite content to just be called Vicar, and it does happen :)

I don't use parlours, only independent ladies, and I always introduce myself using my real first name. Whenever I meet a new lady I always use her name, its only polite, even though we both know its her stage name.

However by the third date, without fail, she will say "thats not my real name, you can call me.....". Last week it happened on a first date with a new lady; I suppose she could have fed me an alternate stage name, but I don't think so.

Are you not already on first name terms after making the initial contact over the phone?

Gents already know my name before the call me and obviously I ask them theirs when they contact me [if they haven't already introduced themselves that is]. I tell them to make one up if I sense any hesitation.

I actually used to find it really awkward when guys would ask me my real name. Not too sure why they would *need* to know that. I have made up a working name to use now (I get that some guys might find calling me Minxy a bit odd!).

Oh I don't know Mnxy, it kinda suits you. :D

I had a guy turn up two hours early for an overnight the other night. Didn't really mind, but it meant he had to hang about while I did my showering/hair etc. The thing was when I opened the door I hadn't a clue who it was and for a fleeting second I wondered if I'd taken a booking I'd forgotten about. So it was a damn good job that I knew his name otherwise I would have been being very rude to him thinking that he was maybe a chancer knocking on the door out of the blue like that.

After you have emailed a Lady and talked on the phone with her prior to the visit, you should be able to call each other by a first name. It adds to GFE/SLE (Secret Lover Experience). It's easier for me to use Moose, since most of the people know me by that name. Also, I'm at that age where I have been called just about everything and answered to about every name called.

I am terrible at remembering names but I fully accept that it is impoortant as it creates that little extra bridge -- like a smile !!

I remember at my fav booking with the first timer Wg that when I opened the door she blurted out her real name as an introduction but then corrected it immediately with her escort name. It was a nice moment.

Most of the escorts I meet use the first name I give them. It does not bother me if not, but I think it is nice as I like to click with a lady when I meet her, and that makes it feel less impersonal. If the girl has given me a name I will use that as well, but if she uses a working title rather than a personal name I am not going to walk in and say (for example) "Hello Big Buxom Beauty"!

I was surprised to discover that one good agency doesn't even pass the punter's name to the girl when he arrives, in spite of the fact that they have used their name (real or not) when booking, confirming and arriving. After several meetings, being recognised and greeted as "Oh, it's you", it was apparent when we swapped phone numbers that she didn't know my stated name. The agency just introduced arrivals as "your 4 o'clock" or similar. I had always assumed they would tell her what I called myself. Otherwise they miss a chance to be slightly more personal in their greeting.

I have trouble with that when doing duo's with my girlfriends. I often blurt their real names out and end up suffering the consequences... :(:P

My first name isn't really Joe, though my surname is indeed Diddley.

I always use my real first name and it never seems like any sort of deal for the wg, whether she cares or not, believes me or not. But the other way around, now that is something else! A wg that I became quite fond of recently told me her real name and it was like a small bomb had gone off in my chest, it felt so incredibly intimate. I've loved using her real name (nice name too) it gave me a real thrill.

Thanks for the replies so far, but I only punt in-call with agencies, so I was hoping to get some replies from Girls who work in Parlours and Punters who use them, as this is where I supsect it is more likely that there is no introduction by the WG, and where she may not know or say the punters name in the entire booking !

Doesnt matter about stage or real name at all, just whether its ever mentioned on a first time visit ! Ta !
