Scam Warning

5 posts in this topic

Hi all

A warning to all about a *possible* escort related credit card scam.

A few weeks ago I saw a new escort in my area on ADooltwurk (you know what I mean). She was very beautiful/young etc and offered a huge array of services at a very low price. I made contact via the private email address on her profile, ie not through the site. I got no reply and after a few days her profile disappeared. I didnt see any feedback or field reports. I assumed that she had had decided not to escort afterall.

Yesterday I got a couple of emails from her. One was inviting me to her profile on greatbritishescorts.com. She said that she had gone down this route to avoid being pestered by pimps and to get better more exclusive clientele and if I joined that website for free then I could get her number. She also sent me a link to a punter review site called jacklonghorn.com. Naturally this gave her an excellent review.

The free memberships apparently come with free sessions with their escorts. This set alarm bells ringing.

Turns out that supposedly free access to their full profiles requires a credit card to be registered. There are also pages and pages and pages of t's and c's. I didn't read them all but assume that somewhere in there is a clause about free trial period and automatic reregistration with payment. Naturally I avoided. I checked out the other girls on the site and every one seems a little too good to be true compared to ay dubuoo and other sites. The jack longhorn site is an escort review blog that when you delve a little deeper seems to ONLY give good reviews to girls met via greatbritishescorts.com. This seems too obviously a marketing tool for this site. He even has a thread extolling the virtues of that particular site.

I will never know the truth as I'm not setting myself up for abuse of my CC details.

Don't sue me. This may all be legit. AndBut seems a little fishy for me, so thought I'd share my concerns with the punting masses. Caveat Emptor.

T

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Yes, that is guaranteed to be a scam!

Real service providers earn their money in person, so they naturally want to make it as easy as possible for potential clients to get in touch.

No genuine escort (or agency, or directory) will ever make you register or pay to see their contact details.

If it sounds too good to be true then it probably is!
