Increasing Semen Volume

In case anyone else is as dumb as I am, I thought I'd report on how I did after trying to increase the volume of my loads. There's plenty of info out there, and some commercial products. It seemed to boil down to - abstinence (not an option), hydration (easy) and a two supplements - zinc and L-arginine.

The commercial supplements seemed really expensive, so I did a bit of research and bought (over the counter from a famous health food chain) standard bottles of the zinc and l-arginine capsules in daily doses.

After that, I took the pills every day more diligently than I have ever taken anything. I didn't want to skew the results, so I had the normal amount of sex, wanking etc, although I did drink more water.

Reading the info, it had been claimed that it would take a couple of weeks to get working, but:

I noticed fairly dramatic results fairly quickly. After about 5 days, my first ejaculation (of a series) were increased by approximately double (although I'm no expert on measuring fluid volumes by sight). The second and subsequent ones seemed pretty much the same as they always were.

I was really pleased, and carried on.

After about a month, I noticed that I had a series of symptoms that I had attributed to other things. I was feeling nauseas a lot, and had headaches. I also felt like I had to "click" my foot, but couldn't. After another week, the strange feeling in my foot had spread to both feet and both hands. By the end of the week, I was in quite a lot of pain and could hardly walk or hold a pen. I went to the doctor who said I had heavy metal poisoning from the zinc, which had done something to my joints. I explained about the supplements, and the doctor said that I was on the correct dosage, and it should have been safe. It was possible that I was particularly sensitive to zinc, or I had a high intake of it already for some reason.

I was told to drink loads (of water) and obviously stop taking the pills. After another week I was much better, and now I've recovered fully.

Verdict: Well, it worked, but I won't do it again, and I don't recommend it to anyone else.

You probably had enough Zinc in your diet already.

I think the most important thing is to have a healthy life style.

Eat good food - drink pleny of water - dont drink alcohol or smoke (or at least cut back) - get plenty of exercise - watch your weight etc.

The blokes I know who appear to have a great sex life seem to be following these rules.

Although I have tried effervescent 1000mg vitamin C and zinc tablets daily for a week on the run up to a punt and seemed better. Also found I was even more horny than normal after eating a banana daily for a week.

Zinc is usually safe in doses less than 200% RDA.Most general supplements offer 100-150% RDA so should be fine. Most of us get plenty through food but its apsorbtion is easily impaired(iron nullifies zinc). Best taken late at night / early morning on an empty belly.

L-Arginine is an amino acid which enhances the effect of nitric oxide in the body, relaxing blood vessels and can improve erections.However, it can cause headaches , nausea , stomach upsets and occasionally heart problems.

Excesses of vitamin B6 can cause numbness in hands and feet.

If you are going to take something daily IMHO try something like 'Complete Man' from Boots which has more RDA than the waste of time cheapies but much less than the potentially dangerous supervits you can get.

Oh, and bananas are good, though one a day should be enough.

What is the particular interest in increasing semen load for punting ? Is it to increase ' hornyness ' or is it for a sort of exhibition of masculinity to spew out loads on a punt ? Funny enough, I have found that the more intense climax is the second or third orgasm,and that might be later that day or even the next day.

The best way ive found of increasing semen (not sperm count) is by doing this;

When you get some time to yourself, have a wank but dont EVER orgasm, keep on stroking your rod keeping yourself at that point where you really want to orgasm, just dont orgasm! keep yourself at that point throughout the session. The longer the session the better, and dont ever orgasm even if you got no more time to carry on - restart again later or tomorrow... youll be feeling constantly horny and thinking about sex more while your at work and such.

I have this personal theory that during the time youre on the verge of orgasm, during this time your body/balls are producing a LOT more semen fluid - not the sperm fluid. The sperm is the thick nasty white stuff, semen is the sex lubricant or "pre-cum" - the stuff that has a colour clear appearance which also mixes in with the sperm fluid when you orgasm causing the texture to be all runny rather than white/sticky. Also, its the thick white part that causes the nasty taste, the semen/pre-cum you produce during sex is the one that tastes ok/nice. So by pro-longing your orgasm during sex or wanking, youre storing up more pre-cum...

I said in another thread, many minerals and vitamins intereact with others when you take them. Obviously there are issues of toxicity with most drugs (actually water is considered a poision and hyper-hydration can be fatal).

So the issue is knowing your own body, knowing what you are taking and fully understanding the impact it has.

Zinc is essential for body function, so a healthy person needs it. It is a matter of quantity and understanding.

L-arginine is an amino acid that is manufactured in the body (but found in many foods), as such there is no recommended daily intake.

Peter North was quite unreal in the loads he used to dish out! I've read of many other male stars who took high doses of zinc.

I think this obsession with increasing one's load has only come about due to porn.

When we first met, my wife to be commented that the volume of semen I produced was high but I've never obsessed about it increasing it. I've been taking zinc supplements to help protect against colds for the last 2-3 years and can't say I've noticed much of an increase.

healthy diet and plenty of water you should not need supplements.

think you need some fat to digest minerals and vitamins or they just go straight through.

is you want a high potassium diet make sure your kidneys are OK, cos potassium is complete no-no for renal failure patients

think your sex bits are same as other parts of your body. if you dont lose em you lose em. so keep shagging and wanking to stay healthy.

I pre-plan a few days in advance when I can - 5 days abstinence from sex/masturbation, increase water intake and I take extra fruits such as pineapple and kiwi.   Some people claim amino acids also produce good results.

 

As someone mentioned early, healthy lifestyle and diet are key contributors, but I also find that the longer I have sex, the more semen is eventually produced.  I recently had a 2 hour punt where I held back until the last 15 minutes.

Yes, a few days forward planning works for me, wanking but holding back seems to male my cum heavier.

Well, yes, I do rather like to have done a good job at filling up the condom - but I'd be interested in increasing volume if it meant that the process of ejaculation itself lasted longer, so more pleasure for me. I'd want to be able to feel that as the norm, rather than having to save it up. On the few occasions when I have tried not wanking for several days before a punt, it really was a bit of a disappointment as although there was plenty of semen, I couldn't last long enough to build up the sensation. However, there's usually been the option to go again & round two certainly felt more explosive, might have even been not far off the first load in terms of volume. Oh, and if I could have some more in the tank for round three ... I blame my deprived youth, where packs of Durex would go out of date before I used them ... sure felt good driving away from a lady's house after shooting three loads inside her and finishing off a whole box in a couple of hours!

Since I've given up smoking I am hornier, however I decided to use exercise to deal with it and have found l-argeninine and L-carcine (I think) have given me a boost in being able to exercise harder and for longer in the week I have since I've started taking them.  However in that week I have also started to notice that my erections are stronger and when I "unload" it is much more spectacular in terms of flight... not noticed in any difference in amounts though...
