Blogs And Diaries

16 posts in this topic

Any punters out there keep a diary of your punts, or even a blog? I know there are some famous escort bloggers, but do any of you regular punters keep a diary or a blog of your punting activities? Have you ever shared it? I have kept a blog of my punting life, but I've never shared it and I suppose the only reason I keep a blog instead of a diary is that I don't have to hide a book anywhere or risk having a file discovered on my computer.

Be interested to hear if anybody else does similar?

No, too dangerous a thing to have lying around. I have a mental note of the last 2/3 years but that's in my head, and staying there!

I don't do a blog but I write in my diary the name of the girl I saw on a particular date. I might add WOW ! after the name or 10/10 or a lower rating as appropriate but that's about it. At the end of the year I have a look back and kinda do a end of year accounts where I tot up how many punts I've had and with how many different girls. Strangely enough the figures tend to be consistent year to year at about 33 punts with 22 different girls.

Don't know about others but I can look at a girls name and almost remember the punt even if it's a year or more ago. There must be something in our brains that enables us to remember details when our emotions are aroused.

If a girl has a picture on a website I also download a copy onto my PC for a memento.

Ok so I'm single and there's nobody likely to be snooping in my diary or PC, however I have thought that if, sorry when, I snuff my daughters will probably flick through my old diaries and wonder who all the females' names are. They'll probably look at my computer too and then put 2 and 2 together. What will they think ? LOL ! Well they'll know that poor old dad was having quite a lot of fun spending some of their inheritance. Hope it makes them smile.

I started a blog a week back & logged all the rendezvous I had this year, but later I decided I will log only the memorable ones, the best & worst as it tend to get boring if I log everything.

We are but 12yrs in of 'internet punting' and making history here. Punternet 99' will be very well known in the future when we are all dead and buried. I do read snippets of male punter blogs, UK and USA, some are vile, some are quite insightful and interesting too.

Remember, t'internet is still a very new thing in the realms of tech etc, it's like what, mid 80's (put me right, I'm no techy) and WE are pretty much at the beginning as far as 'this' goes. They are going to be in awe of us and think we are 'so retro' in a couple of hundred years. Just like the way I LOVE reading of the 'Harris List of Covent Garden Ladies' etc, now. It was a blog of sorts I suppose. I think blogs like Laura Lee and Harlots Parlour will be of particular value in the future, I love reading them now!

My blog is public but not intentionally so I just wanted a place to record my thoughts and experiences for my own reference and a major blogging service seemed a big enough crowd to hide in. I figured that every man and his dog would be keeping a punting blog so i think mine would not attract undue attention. I'm surprised that more people have not responded to this post saying they keep one.

I would imagine lots of people don't see 'punting' as a hobby or past time. Rather a commando raid to release millions of innocent tadpoles held hostage by a grumpy dowdy wife at home or other equally valid reasons, and don't -or daren't record their marital indescretions. Others simply keep their sex lives to themselves which of course is a matter of personal choice.

I suppose a blog detailing who you have met is an way of "collecting" escorts or at least the memories of meeting them, in a similar way people collect and arrange Clarice Cliff or Players cigarette cards. You either do it or you don't!

Correct.

Internet has made one huge difference already, and will still change in ways we dont know.

In future, btw, we may well have total CCTV coverage visible on youtube or googlemaps. Someone could follow your everystep from 16:50 onwards...

And I am writing this from a country where the gov is quite strict and possibly monitoring all internet traffic... aie..

Posting on here and by FR is a sort of diary of punting activities for some, i have zero interest in any Blogs now and have never kept a Diary.

I did read a number of Blogs and found watching paint dry more interesting.

I have a notepad file written in code of all my punts. Just so I can remember them and recall for the wank bank when needed. Plus it's amazing to know for sure how many women I've been with. Well over 100.

Yes I'm a bit of a collector too (mild OCD I imagine). Don't keep a diary or a blog, but I have an area of my hard disk where I keep pictures (off the web) of ladies I have visited. In addition I map out all the locations where I've punted using placemarks on Google Earth, so as a consequence there are parts of the UK littered with yellow pins. These can be zoomed into at will to help remind me of the experience, should the urge arise, though if anyone else came across it I'm sure they would be mystified. Another thing that would have been impossible before the internet.

Not necessarily. Anecdote time: Some bright spark at NASA had the equally bright idea of archiving data from the Apollo moon landings on tape. When someone came to access it years later they discovered that the final tape machine capable of retrieving the data had been junked a few weeks before at some obscure USAF base. (That will have to remain apocryphal as I read it years before the internet!)

PMSL and GPWM. And yeah, field reports are dispatches from the front line of the battle (so to speak) of the sexes. ;)

I write up the LMP parties I go to and save the word documents as encrypted files, not just to post on their website, but also to jog the memory. So much happens and I want to be reminded of it!

I also keep a 'hotlist' on the Purple Site of the WGs I've seen, though I may have to write these up as well, as they keep deleting their profiles! :(

Once I'm punting a bit more regularly again I may start a blog just to keep everything in the cloud, for security. Right now I punt so infrequently it doesn't seem worth it.
