Editing A Post

3 posts in this topic

Does anyone else have a problem with editing a post, After editing the post displays some of the html code in the whole edited post?

as in.....

<br>

Penthouse apartment in a child unfriendly purpose built block ( young professionals) <br><br><br>

<br>

.<img class="bbc_emoticon" alt=":P" src="public/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif">P.S. I own my own place!<br><br><br><br><br>

This is the second time I've had this occur, the problem only appearing over the last couple of days and not before.

I'm on FF4 Nothing has changed on my computer.

Although I'm not sophisticated enough to use <br>, I've sometimes found that I've omitted, or mucked up the "unquote" at the end, which has awkward effects. I think I'm satisfied that when my editing screws up, it is my fault, not Punternet's! (And I'm still on FF 3.6.17, because Opanda hasn't yet caught up with 4!)

The <br> and so on appear all on their own after editing the post. Sometimes it happens sometimes it doesn't ! I'm certain it isnt me as , if I copy and paste the whole thing into a new post, it then appears normally !

I'm sure electronics have a life of their own. I have 1faminly member phone number in my phone that always returns a voice mail result even though the receiver has no voice mail on! My number never gets through -now I have to text and ask for a call back! We cant pin it down nor can either phone provider. Just the way of the electronic world I guess.

Thanks for answering by the way ...
