Punting In Capsule Hotels

6 posts in this topic

Has anyone punted in a capsule hotel? Are ladies ok with visiting one?

I'm getting increasingly fed up with crowded hotel transfers for early morning flights and the Yotels within spitting distance of departures at LGW and LHR are starting to appeal. Just a bit concerned that space limitations might cramp my style.

I've wondered about this. I've stayed a few times in EasyHotels, which is a bit like sleeping in an orange Ford Transit in terms of size, but I've yet to pluck up the courage to ask a lady to visit me there!

You never know, the cosiness might lead to an extra special intimate encounter.

Or she might just think you're a cheap charlie and beat it as soon as possible :P .

No use for Gatwick, but Etap hotels all over the place are all standard rooms at very cheap prices if booked in advance, not bad even if not in advance (c.£18 up to c.£40 most cases). There's one at London City I think, but not sure of prices there. One double bed and a third bunk bed across the 'head' of the double - useful for gymnastic ladies on top of you!

Very basic, but OK - downside is no real privacy if the lady needs to change - shower is in corner of room, toilet is small cupboard with, er, toilet in it. But if you like watching ladies getting changed, they're fine.... :)

Personally I wouldn't mind, intact it's easier than travelling to most of the airport hotels!

Ohmydays, just googled some of the London ones. Whatever you do make sure you check with the gal in question first that she's not claustrophobic! Don't think I'd be able to sleep in those, let alone do anything else!
