Reciprocal Social Network Advertising

3 posts in this topic

With the marked upturn in escorts using social networking for marketing (3000-4000 are freely viewable) on the likes of Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, Blogger et al, is it not now an option to place 'buttons' for the more popular social networks in the 'Service Provider Database' announcements sections?

Apart from this being a super advertising medium for Punternet itself, it also saves having to copy/paste links into social networking windows and post any updates with one click.

I am probably one of many PNet uses who do not use social networking sites.

My view is that (a) I dont want to be telling all & sundry my thoughts, views or what I may be doing/planning to do, and that (B), I consider my time can be used more productively. And yes, I have tried facebook, but simply cant be arsed with the need to frequently update, plus Mrs T felt it was not an appropriate site for someone 55+. Life has many more important aspects than inaine ramblings of nobodies and C List celebs on Twitter or Facebook.

That said, however, I would be grateful if someone can provide a brief tutorial on how to find these ladies on such sites, then I can re-evaluate whether those websites do have a benefit for me.

(And I've told Mrs T, that I expect her to close her facebook account when she is 55 too. Somehow I feel this is one rule for me, another for her............)

Depends what you're after really, and it is definitely a case of 'each to his/her own'.

If you're after an in-depth insight into who's working for every establishment in the world, then its best to stick with directory sites.

But if you wanted a bit of light hearted banter with a few WGs and establishments, both locally and worldwide, then social networking is ideal.

In the case of Facebook, you wont have much success in using their search facilities as many workers prefer to keep it 'closed shop'.

In the case of Twitter, just set up an account, 'follow' lots of businesses and individuals from your local area, and also 'follow' as many 'escorts' as you wanted. (Use the search box for this). You will then find other people being 'suggested' for you to follow, which is where you will eventually find the occasional good contacts.

None of the above should be used as an alternative to finding definite bookings for definite times, which is what the main directory websites are for, but there are many establishments and clients that forge good rapport through social networking, but the main rule is to have patience until you begin to get established as relationships do not just happen overnight.
