I'm afraid I do tend to take a little booster now, more as a belt and braces exercise really, and to make sure I get maximum enjoyment from the occasion. Going back a few years I wouldn't have dreamt of such a thing. But then going back a few years I had a full head of hair/could down pints on end with no hangover/didn't know the meaning of love handles etc. No point looking back - onwards and upwards, deal with the here and now and make the most of it, that's my view.

God bless the little blue buggers, takes effort and worry out of the equation especially on a first visit for the nervous or faint of heart - otherwise positively grin inducing erections!

I use them sometimes as a belt and braces exercise. Don't always need them but good to be sure. I prefer the orange ones (cialis) as they last for 36 hours and don't seem to give me a headache like the blue ones. But it seems to affect different people in different ways. I buy mine from www.edandmore.com/generic-cialis

Sometimes I worry about the risk of buying from an Internet pharmacy. Not so much the risk of getting duds. These really seem to work , I guess it could be placebo, but it seems unlikely. I have been more worried about purity and safety. All I can say is that I seem fine, with no ill effects, so I think they are safe but who really knows?

I raised the wisdom of these "aids" on a recent thread and the info I got put me off for life. You should consider your general health, especially blood pressure, stress and high Cholesterol levels. If you are taking prescription meds for any of these then the use of Viagra or similar is NOT advised.

Wearing my pharmaceuticals expert's hat, the thing you must NOT do with Viagra, Cialis or Levitra is to take them with "poppers" (amyl nitrate). This combination can cause a very serious drop in blood pressure.

Cialis has the longest "half-life" and thus can have an effect for up to, say, 36 hours....as against up to, say, 5 hours for Viagra and Levitra.

Levitra is suggested as the best for diabetic punters.

I used to take viagra just as a means of 'just in case' and help it be more hard.

Recently though ive found i dont need it, its all in the mind for me.

Never bothered up to this point but interested as things get a bit slower. Presumably, as soon as you take one of the tablets (and it gets into your bloodstream) you get a hard on and it stays with you until the tablet wears off. Surely, thats a little bit inconvenient if not a nuisance? More info please from them as knows.

I'm on prescribed medication for blood pressure & Cholestrol but my GP assured me that the use of Cialis (as & when) should have no adverse effect. In fact, he gave me a private prescription for it, though I tend to order the generic version online which is a cheaper option & has the desired effect with no side effects.

@porker paul: I'm with 44ster on this - I take meds for type 2 diabetes, mild hypertension and cholesterol, and my GP (who put me on all these meds) was happy to offer Viagra. I wonder where you got the advice that "taking Viagra is not advised"? My fairly extensive reading on this subject has not produced any contra-indications other than nitrate-based drugs - which are usually prescribed for more serious heart conditions - and that does include poppers. For an amusing take on this particular contra-indication, see "Something's Gotta Give", starring Jack Nicholson.

As for when to take them, I only use them for FS encounters - I find that any skilled FBSM practitioner will always produce the desired effect.

Had a serious operation a few years ago and my doctor prescribed Cialis to help me out. When I fully recovered about a year ago he said he could no longer prescribe them for me on the National Health and the private prescription is too expensive.

So I've been taking the Chinese herbal variety and found that they have the desired effect. Not quite as long lasting as Cialis but equally effective.

I think before turning to pills people should try a bit of exercise, it is great not just for general health, but has been fantastic for my labido.

No, you don't get a permanent hard on, You just respond to stimulation the way you used to.

I think there is a differnce between ED=Eritile disfunction and PE=Pre mature ejectulation.

If you have paid for the purpose then most of us would like to last at least 20 if not 30min hardon. So if anyone knows which is best PE pill then please do tell.

I have used vaigra which is ED and the result is opposite to what i wanted.

Thanks - that seems a lot more sensible.

Viagra has been a life saver for me, I burned myself out at work, erections became half hearted, now, not only are they back, confidence has really come back. I get a tinge of stuffy nose and maybe a little headache on occasion but not much. Stays hard until I come, then usually get 1-2 rebounds thereafter...

Viagra does help, i dont really need it but it does make me perform a bit better.

A couple of times Ive taken 3x 100mg pills over an hour just to see if it made any difference, i could feel my veins all around my body racing so hard.

For the following week i had slight ringing in the ears, thats the only side effect i had. Only had headaches from the first few pills i ever took.

I was with one WG, and i came twice within 30 seconds of the other, it was awesome. Never had that happen before and ever since... because i havnt used viagra since then.

Ive noticed though, as im an electrician who works outside in all weathers, im suffering from runny noses except during the summer months, im talking like... a very runny nose like a little kid. Ive never needed to carry a handkerchief all my life until the last couple of years. I havnt touched a pill since, though im very tempted to.

Three x 100mg tablets is a hell of a dose. I took 2 x 50mg tablets and although I was up harder I struggled to pop. I was told by those in the know that that happens if you overdo the blue pills.

But I performed like I used to as a teenager 7 pussies serviced in a two hour party but no pop I was happy and next morning woke up with a real boner.

Just be careful I"m prescribed viagra and the doctor was quite thorough before he did the prescription.

I hear now viagra might be getting prescribed for heart problems, seemingly viagra has a side affect which could relax the heart muscle

I think that's the wrong way round, It was originally researched as a heart drug, it's the side effect that's marketed.

Exactly right, Joe Blob. Also, I'm surprised that with the number of years that Viagra's been around people are still so ill informed about it - including its origins.

The point someone made about exercise is a very important one. Going to the gym regularly - I mean a minimum of three times a week for at least an hour each time - brings all sorts of benefits. You'll feel better in yourself, have more stamina, definitely have a better erection and because you will be drinking a lot of water, you'll be ejaculating loads. For a rock-hard erection there's nothing to beat heavy weights exercises that really develop and tone your core - that is, your thighs, bum, abs and lower back. We're talking about deadlifts, squats, abdominal crunches and the rest. It goes without saying that you shouldn't try lifting a heavy bar unless you know what you're doing: so proper instruction and a medical (if you're over 40) are pretty essential, but if you really work at it, you'll discover the benefits surprisingly quickly. Guaranteed!

Going back to the blue pills, I'm fortunate enough not to need them 'ordinarily'. However, if I'm going to a party, I'm not ashamed to admit that I pop one in my mouth half an hour before arriving. There's virtually no 'down time', and it's true that they give you much less of an urge to cum - which is a positive advantage in the heat of a stimulating party. It's quite obvious in fact that the huge growth in the party scene over the past few years is mostly down to the availability of 'medication': most of the guys are on it, and what's the harm in equipping yourself to perform like a porno stud for a few hours?

As regards which one to take, again I'm fortunate in that I've never had a serious reaction with any. But for me at least, Levitra is streets ahead of the other two. I don't get any reaction at all, and it gives a massive hard-on with a medium or even low dose. Ciailis I've found much less effective - though it does seem to be effective over a longer period - and on the two occasions I've taken it, Viagra gave me a hot flush and slight dizziness.

I was having a cigarette outside a hotel entrance the other day and happened to spot a discarded sachet of what looked like oral jelly but not the usual brand. On closer inspection it was called Intimax. Has anyone come across this before, if you would excuse the pun?
