What Do You Do When You Leave An Agency And They Threaten To "ruin" You...

13 posts in this topic

I was with an agency for quite a while, built up a lovely selection of regulars and unfortunately have left. The agency has since made threats when they discovered i'm looking to move to another agency.

She's now stating i've ripped off clients when I haven't. And sent me a text saying she's going to ruin my reputation...

How do i stop this?

Not a lot really, probably best totally ignoring them. There are a lot of nasty people in this industry as I have discovered and threats are constantly being bandied about. Just get on with your life and have fun. If and when they do something then you have to decide how to deal with it depending on what they do...what can they do! ...please tell me they dont have your home address though.x

My advice would be to keep a copy of any (and all) threatening communications, voicemails, texts, emails etc. If she has been stupid enough to leave a trail of evidence in advance, she would be a mug to follow through with anything really nasty.

Good luck.

Concur with the good Vicar, do keep copies of any text or email correspondence etc. Remember you working as an escort is not illegal. Running an agency however is and so is blackmail and harassing you. Perhaps you can also check out SAAFE.org a good website that has a lot of great general advice and a forum. If anything you are around some people that will be offering a sympathetic ear and you might feel less isolated.

Why did you leave them? Did something happen between you?

Do you really think it is appropriate and a good idea to discuss this on an open forum?

Why not? She asked the question, I was merely trying to establish the reasons behind her leaving. Yes it is a good idea, especially if the Punting Community can offer support and advice

Of course it’s appropriate. Anyone who hangs their dirty washing out on an open forum is fair game. And when it’s a first post to boot!!........ Ask away, Sarah!

A bit like sinbadsid’s ludicrous first (and only, I notice!) post a week ago about parties & small dick size! Don't rise to the bait and take these posts too seriously!

I guess this shows pitfalls are not always to do with clients, but also from within the industry.

The agency to me sounds upset you left Sasha, mainly I guess financially motivated.

As suggested, keep all information and a note of the contacts, ride it out but if it doesn't stop or gets too bad threaten to go to the authorities.
