Has The Recent Hard Times For Employed Punters Had An Effect On Frequency Of Appointments With Wg's

53 posts in this topic

I am interested views from Punters and WG's alike. Recently i certainly do not feel like spending my hard earned cash on punting as am not sure what the future holds. A lot of companies are going through hard times in the UK and almost every second or third mail from Management is about containing costs. I find this quite depressing and certainly do not know what the future holds with redundancies etc. I normally would punt up to twice a month but I have resisted from punting in the last month and for the immediate future.....has this happened to any of you and how have you reacted?.

Also for the WG's do you feel that you have less punters coming through the door that you normally had say from 6 months ago

Delighted, I can't read a word of the above post on my iPad. You might want to consider using a more normal font.

I am retired but punt as i wish, i have punted more this year than last in fact but thats due to reasons outside of punting. My punting has also gone down in price overall since last year and i have yet to have a bad punt this year so its happy days at present. :)

Hmm... I think its a factor of both the current economic and the punters lifestyle...but varies between us punters imo

If I really wanted to see a WG and can afford it, I would most likely not feel bad about spending my hard earn cash...

This must take the title of the longest title in P net history.

My punting frequency has diminished, not for financial reasons, but as I get older I need to punt less.

The most obvious sign of what delighted wants to know will probably come in a series of prices reductions as WG's attempt to replace the volume of higher priced punts with more less expensive ones.

I shall be interested to see what follows in due course.

No, NW, you need to have a normal computer, :D

I punt when I can, not when I can afford it, although i don't use a punting strategy that puts the first part of the statement into conflict with the second.

I imagine everyone has a punting cycle, and perhaps yours is replicating the economic cylce by coincidence. By that I mean, when you first start punting, you cant keep away from the parlours, then you start becoming a whole lot choosier. Then you start thinking of all the stuff you could buy with punting money. Thats where I am at just now. It took me a mere six years or more. Still punting, but looking for the value brand as it were.

Cheers D. Actually, you make a good point. I have just totted up what I have spent over the past 3 years and am currently swallowing something hard and jagged.

Still, we're a long time dead !!

Actually, you may be right. I am now reading this thread on my home desktop machine and the difference in clarity with the OPs font is remarkable. Black mark against Apple eh ?

If iPads block anything in comic sans then I would think that would be a major selling point for many.

Nah, it didn't block it, it rendered the text in a more cursive and much fainter version than the machine/OS/Browser I am using at the moment. I take your point though ;) .

Is the collective noun for a bunch of nerds really a herd? I was never taught that at school. But then I was privately educated, that may account for it.

I think the girls consider it impolite to discuss whether they are busy or not!

Its a systematic misunderstanding, nerd already was a collective noun.

london Lydia...May i politely enquire why is it so impolite to discuss whether they are busy or not..most dinner conversations discuss a wide manner of things so I am wondering if such a discussion would hurt anyone's feelings......

Because us girls are in the same industry. It would be considered bad form to shout about how busy you were if the person next to you at hypothetical dinner party in the same line as you was about to go bankrupt.

There must be some reason cos none of the girls have responded!

i haven't really punted an escort, more FBSM, but despite the hard times, I'm right in there, as someone earlier stated, we are dead a long time, this too shall pass, this financial madness, but the moment of time is lost forever, and nobody is getting any younger. If anything, the downturn reminds me how transitory everything is, I probably have increased visits a wee bit.

If any economists are watching, they would certainly discourage the 'paradox of thrift' risk and encourage readers to get out there, do your patriotic duty, and spend!

Any lady mentioning she's not busy will receive thoughts or posts from some members along the lines of...

"well I can see why you're not busy luv, look at your tits/arse/tum/face/prices/reviews/lack of reviews....etc."

And who'd believe or perhaps want to see you if you're so busy you're squeezing clients in ?

Some guys like more exclusivity or the lady who says she only sees one or two a day, few a week.

Need I be any more clear ?

Hi Guys and Girls,

What I have noticed on another purple web site, is there are lots more WGs charging around £60 - 70/hour than there was a year or two ago and there seems to be no difference between these WGs and ones charging more!

I have spent £150 and £60 for an hour and the service is just the same. Its all down to the WG and how you get on!

Prices seem to be going down and services going up.There seems to be more girls who a few years ago would have asked for £100 - 120, now asking £80-100 with full service included.

This also applies to foreign places, Germanys famous FFK are now offering a flat price of between 60 -80 euros at certans times of the day. For this you can eat/drink and see as many WGs as you want within a 3 hour period! And the WGs are really hot. I wish more countries where like Germany.

The trend follows the economic uncertainty and the there are now more girls from countries like Spain, Italy, Portugal and Greece! Not just central european countries. Also there are now more WGs than ever, so this is also taking an effect on prices.s

Like most punters, if times are hard then they will stop or see less WGs, this will effect the WGs supply of punters.

This just from my own observations.

Thanks
