Viagra And Levitra - My Experiences

9 posts in this topic

My experiences so far:

I've had a couple of "problems" on punts which I think were caused by nervousness. No problems flying solo or waking with morning glory but nerves can be a terrible thing.

I now have 20mg Levitra and 100mg Viagra on prescription.

The first time I took 10mg Levitra (half a tablet) I definitely had an improved rock solid erection but I was very flushed and a bit tight chested. The next time there were no side effects but it was still just as effective. I also tried 5mg (quarter tablet) this was slightly better than taking nothing but not as good as 10mg.

One "issue" I've now had twice with Levitra is either delayed orgasm or not reaching orgasm at all. The first time it happened the lady nearly bust a gut but brought me off eventually. The second time I just couldn't come at all. I'm certain it must have been the Levitra as it's a problem I don't normally have. I have cum with Levitra so will try again.

I'm not sure about Viagra as yet. I took half (50mg) for a solo session when I first had it. My erection was no different to a natural one but zero side effects whatsoever. I tried it on a punt and to be honest needn't have bothered, erection was sufficient but with the nerves etc it was an issue. Again, zero side effects, I may as well have swallowed a smartie. Unlike Levitra I came as normal but nearly lost means to do it.

I'll try both again and vary the dose as per the directions I've been given, given my zero adverse reaction to 50mg Viagra I think I'll try 75mg and if necessary 100mg.. Maybe being 100kg I just need more than a guy who weighs 75kg. My biggest hope is to ditch the nerves enough so I don't need the tablets at all.

Obviously we're all different and these are just my personal experiences. I'll post some more as and when and would interested to know what experiences you guys have either +ve or -ve.

I have same issue, been punting for 2 years but still get nervous meeting a new girl & all the usual stuff associated with a punt, walking past hotel receptions etc. In the past walked out the door rock hard but flaccid on arrival!

Viagra works but I always have a terrible headache afterwards; I've found Kamagra is more effective with only a slight hot flushed feeling afterwards. 50mg is usually enough. Anyone else tried this?

I've used Viagra (50mg) twice now - once "on my own" as a dry run to see what I could expect and then on a punt. I have to say I was very impressed indeed. On my own with some nice videos I found that erections came quickly and easily, worked well and produced results. 3 times over 4 hours without having to try too hard (excuse pun). Erections also subsided between bouts so no difficulties there either.

The revelation was how "natural" it all seemed - I could easily have dismissed it as not doing too much, but the rock solid nature of the erections and repeat performances told me it was working well.

I had no side effects at all, so I then used one on a punt. I took the 50mg tablet just over an hour before the appointment time and it worked really well. With the same lady on a previous occasion I had not got hard enough for penetration, even though I came with oral etc. But this time I could enjoy all that was on offer and came twice - unusual for me in an hour's booking.

Clearly these meds have different results on different men, but for me Viagra was great. I was surprised (and pleased) by how natural it all seemed while definitely aiding my performance and confidence.

I got the tablets from Tesco pharmacy ED service. I wrote a whole load about it previously on PN but the whole topic got deleted for some reason. I'd recommend Tesco's service if you don't want to go via your GP.

Based on your recommendation of Tesco, I googled it and stumbeld over an article about ED hotspots in the UK, based on Tesco pharmacy data. Results were:

Top 10 hotspots for ED services:

1. Bristol

2. Solihull

3. Lea Valley

4. Bursledon, Southampton

5. Chesterfield

6. Blackpool

7. Portsmouth

8. Altrincham

9. York

10. Lakeside

Top 10 cities with lowest demand:

1. Swindon

2. Cambridge

3. Watford

4. Bury

5. Aberdeen

6. Ely

7. Manchester

8. Poole

9. Swansea

10. Wisbech

Another update:

I think it's time to dump Levitra now! Great at what it's made for but I just can't cum.

Had a 1hr punt today and I didn't get anywhere near the finish line with OWO, sex or HR. You know that feeling when even if it's still a half marathon away it's starting to build and euphoria is glowing on the horizon, well I got nothing! Zip, zilch, nada!

It's only ever happened to me when I've popped a Levitra so there has to be a correlation. Twice I left punts taking my load home with me and the first time it happened the dear, dear lady gave every ounce she had to bring me off with HR.

I'll try again with Viagra and push the dose up (within my prescribed limits).

I'm sure if I could escape for more punts I could lose the nerves and ditch the pills though. Damn, life would be so much easier if I still fancied the other half as I end up wasting erections at home or flying solo. Haven't done anything with her in several years though and don't plan on revisiting those long forgotten territories.

Nerves can be a rotten problem when punting!

Viagra tablets are coated with an enteric coating which allows it to dissolve and release the active ingredient into the body at a slow rate. Breaking them in half and taking them allows the ingredient to get into the body quicker which can cause side effects. For the best effect they should also be taken on an empty stomach. I worked in the pharmacy industry for over 20 years and advise people taking ED products to consult their doctor before doing so as it can be dangerous if you have high and low BP and heart problems.

That's just it with Viagra, I get no effects on 50mg - not even side effects. I may as well swallow a smartie. No benefit, no stuffy nose, no blushing - nothing. This is even after not eating for over 4 hours. Levitra works as intended but stops orgasm.

I know I'm OK BP and heart wise as I've been very regular at my GP for a few years with a now resolved problem which causes no concern for taking ED drugs. I have fully declared more than my "relevant" medical history to the Lloyds Online Dr and they're totally fine with it, I'd rather not be prescribed the medication than falsify my medical history to get it.

Also, although I appreciate your advice and have read online about (not) splitting enteric coated tablets, two different pharmacists have confirmed it's OK for me divide Levitra and Viagra tabs to find the best dose, I think this is fairly common practice amongst most men who take either the genuine or generic products. I do appreciate however that it negates the intended effects of the enteric coating.

It's a pity one can't purchase "enteric coating" in a format similar to nail varnish or "new skin" and re-protect the cut edges. Obviously the drug companies would never produce such a product for us.

Apparently Sudafed is an antidote to the effect of these drugs should you have a prolonged, unwanted erection.
