Why Do Girls On The Other Site Delete Their Profiles?

61 posts in this topic

...only to re-open with a new name a few days later? The pics, location, price etc is the same on the new profile as the old one, and there wasn't any bad feedback on the old profile.

Just makes me a little wary, so would be interested to know if there is a good reason for it!

I notice that one girl who used to be "English_slut_sharon" is now "pretty_princess" (names slightly changed so as not to be thought to be promoting her). May be a matter of wanting to change the marketing platform? The services offered are the same as before but she has re-written her profile.

I have been told by Monica in Hendon/Mill Hiil that after a while they demand "authentication" which involves providing ID compromising your anonimity.

So you get round it by swapping to a new ID, then you get another year or whatever before the ID police come bothering you again.

To avoid Police detection if I am being blunt.

A lot of girls have "dummy profiles" and falsely advertise doing business in a different town to throw the police off their scent.

One Polish girl I saw was advertising in Slough- but was actually in Maidenhead when I booked her. She kept her profile but said she was in Birmingham. But then a second profile appeared back in slough (even though Birmingham was showing as active).

I called to re-book her and she said she was in slough. But 10 minutes later I saw her in person in a TESCO Metro shop in Norwich with her pimp!!!!!!!

LOL.

I've been on the site almost four years and have never been asked, but I've heard from newbies they are definitely going all out to make it appear that the 'verification' is practically necessary (by alluding to all the site features which are not available to those who are not - I think there's two, one being the chance to see who has looked at your private gallery so very helpful; the carpet-spamming of punters is long gone even if it had been useful instead of just embarrassing).

You're not being blunt, you're being ignorant. Working as a prostitute and advertising as such is not illegal - why would the police be the slightest bit interested? Working in a brothel/flat with others isn't illegal either - there's nothing there for the police to detect as far as the lady is concerned.

Yeah?

You just keep telling yourself that.

Have a landline included- put your address in your profile and have a face picture ready.

Selling sex isn't illegal. Soliciting is though - that's why parlours use abbreviations.

Did think it was illegal to work in brothel though - *toddles off to check the laws*

It isn't illegal to work in a brothel, nor to visit one and it never has been. The offence of soliciting is a public order one and relates to causing public nuisance not to parlours or advertising - the internet and telephone are not public places.

RAT, I don't need to 'tell myself' anything, and my profile already has full face pictures, thank you. It is actually against the AdultwŠ¾rk terms of use to include geographical addresses in profile text, but since i do not work from commercial premises I do not advertise mine because that would be both indiscreet and fucking stupid, particularly as it would likely put my personal safety at risk; this comes with the stigma attached to the job and is nothing to do with the law. I am at no risk from police action whatsoever, ditto HMRC or the DSS as I am completely legit. And I don't have a landline, either or I would include if I chose to use it as my work number - most of us have mobile phones nowadays .

I smell bullshit.

As for the ** site that uses foreign servers in some donkey bollocks country to avoid being taken down.

Having said that though I love Escort so I'm not complaining

So all of us that say prostitution that doesnt involve soliciting, coerced or trafficked women is legal are wrong then. If you bothered researching the laws you will find your belief here is wrong. You really give no credit to any of us that have punted for years or SPs in whose interest it is to know the actual laws and our excellent legal minds like Silverado and Irgendeiner among others who have given chapter and verse about the actual laws on here over a long period of time. They are all wrong as well then are they.

I'm no great legal mind, however I do regularly keep myself updated on current laws surrounding my occupation. All the information I have read, says what I do is legal and the opinion I've had from those who work in law is the same. HMRC plus other institutions/organisations even accept it as an actual line of work.

You seem very confident. Why don't you direct us to the specific legislation we've all been overlooking?

That'll be the stuff that springs forth from your keyboard nearly every time you place your fingers on it.

Being a prostitute is not illegal. Advertising sexual services is not illegal. Having paid sex with a (non coerced) prostitute is not illegal.

Soliciting for sexual custom (e.g. streetwalkers asking members of the public if they want sex for money) is illegal. Soliciting for sexual services (e.g. kerbcrawlers asking streetwalkers - or anyone else for that matter - for sex for money) is illegal. Running a brothel (e.g. 2 or more prostitutes working from the same premises) is illegal. Having paid sex with a coerced prostitute is illegal.

It's not rocket science, so get with the programme RAT. All clear now ?

I guess for a foreign WG with rather limited English it seemed that 'verification' was mandatory, and it was easier to kill the profile and create another than get the help of an English speaker to sort out the detail - when that English person would probably have to be a client like me.

Incidentally, what does this verification buy the site owners? They seem to push it quite hard.

The other reasons touted for redoing the profile hold no water in Monica's case, (probably not in any other case either) as she simply put all the same stuff in the new profile, with a slightly different moniker (sorry :) ).

I've read plenty of fantasies described on these boards, but the idea that swarms of detectives are trawling through ** profiles in order to locate and arrest prostitutes, and that those prostitutes are lying about their locations to stay one step ahead of these sleuths, is the biggest one of all.

I very much hope that P C Plod has better things to do with his time (and my money) than chase people who are doing no harm to anyone else.

Actually, I do have real concerns about girls whose profiles are geographically mobile.

It seems to me that there are two different types of mobility:

Girls who claim to be offering a high level of service at a too good to be true price with expensive galleries of probably ripped off pics. These seem to move from city to city just to market their private galleries to local hopefuls. You won't be able to book them because they aren't really offering services. This is a comparatively harmless it tedious scam.

Girls who really exist and may be booked and visited but do pop up in different locations. If such a girl speaks almost no english and is working from an expensive furnished apartment, you have to wonder if that apartment was provided for her and how much control she exercises over her life and work. I have this concern about a specific girl I visited in Northampton: she gave a good service and appeared happy. I had no concerns at the time but since then she has moved to Warrington, Hemel Hempstead, Slough and Camberley. There is another that I haven't visited, but I am pretty sure is for real who has moved from Kings Cross to Pimlico, Stevenage and now Portsmouth.

Should I report my concerns (at least about the girl I have seen) to the authorities. If I am right, I put myself in the firing line (but I would be prepared to do this if it was the right thing), If I am wrong, I will cause her considerable trouble....

In the light of what you have said here I feel that a call to Crime Stoppers would not be out of place. As far as I know, such calls are anonymous and should not be able to be traced back to you.

Far from getting the girl into trouble, you might get her pimp, and any other controlling interests, into a great deal of trouble, which would be a good thing. It is likely that this girl is not alone in being controlled by these people, so you might be helping them too.

Go with your instincts and do what is right. Good luck, and, if you make that call, please let us know.

I agree, if she is a traficing victim then calling would help her a lot. If she is legal they will probably just leave her alone

I started a similar thread about 3 days ago which got about two replies (both non-sequiturs). There is clearly something odd happening...it may be that there is a kind of protection racket running which involves telling the girls that they need verification in order to chase them off the site, or better still collect money. If this is the case, it may be scammers pretending to be the management of the other site in the same way that "punters" went round masquerading as well-known P'net reviewers and requesting freebies.

Some punter boasted of chasing three scam profiles off the other site (by denouncing them). Perhaps competitors are getting in on the act (one girl with a well established profile that disappeared said that this was what happened to her). Another case is evident in the feedback from the pacifist on Nicole-Mercedes on the other site (I have not met her so I am not touting).

Something worrying is happening...more and more girls seem to be controlled and more and more offer bb, Is there a correlation?

Jack

I've had these concerns myself.

Unfortunetly you can ruffle a lot of feathers with posts like these- as I have discovered on the "other forum" when some regular posters posing as "punters" gave me a recommendation.

Lets say the girl was the Polish one as I described above.

I wouldn't bother with Crimestoppers or the Fuzz for reasons that go way above your head.

No. Read a real life Crime book but you won't sleep tight when it emerges how much corruption is in the UK.

Even if there are honest coppers "the right people" have been paid off.
