A Lucky Escape....

22 posts in this topic

Just thought I would tell you about a possible lucky escape or would you have still gone thought with it....

I had been looking at an agency in my area (Portsmouth) and one girl on their website in particular. (The agency is also on the purple site). What has doubted me in the past was that I could find no reports on the agency or the girls other than those on the purple site.

Anyway tonight I thought I would “go for it” and phoned the agency. I arranged a booking to see the girl and the usual “I will get her to give you a call” about 20 mins later a get a text from the girl saying” signal bad can only text, what time do you want to meet?” I text back 7 pm please and got a text back saying yes that’s fine and gave me the road name. So off I went when I parked up a called the number and no reply, then got a text saying “I’m here” no house No. so I called again and again no answer. I text and say that I have parked up and get a text back with the house No. As I’m walking down the road i am wondering why she didn’t answer any calls. I get to the house ring the bell no answer, ring again and somebody comes to the door.. A man answers and says “yes” in an eastern European accent. I thought no way am I going in there so I made my excuses and left. I get back in my car and drove away, the phone rings about 5 mins later and it’s her, I pull over and find that she has also text”if you are not here soon I can’t see you” I text back that I knocked and that a bloke answered and she replied “yes other people live here too, you should have asked for me .whatever I have better things to do than waste my time on you!” I replied "that so have I on her" and got a text back “Fuck off” so I text back and said “well I think you will find that’s exactly what I did”

What would you have done, asked for her or leave? Was it a scam or was it a “shared house”? I have not called the agency yet as not sure if it’s worth it.

You did the right thing in walking. Well done for having the sense to think with your upper brain at a crucial time.

Whether it was a scam or not, you were badly treated by all concerned. Please name the agency so we can all avoid them.

On balance you probably made the right decision. Have to say it has only happened to me once and I was so surprised (it was my third visit) that I asked for the lady and was shown to her room. Suppose it helped that he was a shortish slightly built youngster whereas I am the opposite of all of those.

Main thing is your safe and possibly a little wiser.

Don't bother with the agency, they're clearly in on it. Fuck them. Clearly scammers. You did the right thing and dodged a bullet.

Maybe I'm being harsh, but "Bad signal" my arse. Also, the fact that it took FIVE minutes for her to text after you were at the door. Surely the guy would have known someone was coming, and would have told her straight off what happened. Fairly likely they were trying to come with an idea on how to get you back there.

Ironically the "fuck you, timewaster" comment straight off the bat, shows exactly what she/the agency are. No proffesional would act like that and somehow expect you NOT to think you either had the wrong house, or that someone else would answer the door, least of all a guy. Also, the whole 'house being shared' thing....urgh. What?

As said above, it would be right to name and shame here.

Sounds like a bunch of chancers. Who knows what might have been lying in wait had you proceeded. You made a good call. Now name and shame so no one else falls prey.

I would of left and posted to warn other punters on here.

Being from Portsmouth myself I would also be keen to know of this dodgy outfit so as to avoid...

Thanks, I'm glad others would have done the same as me.

The agency I made the booking through was candy-shop promotions and the girl was Marina.

Their Field Reports have been under investigation by G recently I believe so you were right to name them. They should be avoided by all right minded guys.

yep..

this is why incalls to dodgy areas and incalls in general are, well ... dodgy.

May well have been ambush situation

For outcalls to hotel: Agencies are fine, the girl has to enter the hotel, and thus needs to be minimally intelligent and presentable.

Visits to flats: pick indies, and alsway make sure there is a voice communication with the girl herself.

and on any doubt: out.

better safe then sorry.

(apoligies if I appear paranoia, I have been accused before...)

I dont agree Incalls in general are dodgy, 29 years of doing them proves that to me. As ever be cautious and ready to walk if necessary. If you do your research you can reduce your risk level of course.

If you are talking about the reviews I highlighted the other day then that is a different Candy Shop (candyshop-escorts.com, London-based) to the one andyw is talking about (candy-shop-promotions.com, south coast) and both are different again from candyshopescorts.co.uk of Manchester which is apparently legit. It is a bit of a minefield. Maybe there should be a central registry for escort agencies like racehorses so no two can have the same name.

Thanks for clearing that up

Too mnay candy shops around, and with the field reports now deleted it was difficult to check which was which

Sounds way dodgy to me - I can tell you from a wg's perspective, if a gent is coming for a booking we do not play around - you ring us, we answer, we tell you what flat, let you in, etc. If that was me, the fact that a man answered the door would have freaked me out. Better safe than sorry.

I think you made the right call, sounds very dodgy. You only have to look at the York Scam thread to see how badly things can go wrong.

hahaha hear hear! although I'm sure a big Eastern European guy answering the door made all the blood rush away from a certain area. Sometimes are just too many dodgy people in this industry.

Maybe the guy who answered the door was Marina LOL, only kidding....good call, I'm sure a fair percentage of blokes get suckered in though....

I did the same with a chinese escort. Voice at the buzzer was male so I walked. I've heard bad things about these Triad gangs.
