I use weebly, have found it easy to use, and I think my site looks OK (and I'm not a techie). No problems arising regarding the content either. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a webite. It also includes a blog thingy so I don't have to do one elsewhere and this I have learnt is really good for your SEO too!

I can only write about moonfruit (not wix), as I sometimes have to create small sites for ladies who want a site which they can update quickly and easily themselves.

It is useful, especially since they keep investing in it by adding bells and whistles, some of which are not applicable to the adult business though (such as a PayPal checkout). From the basic template which you select, you can amend things to your heart's content, although I think the image gallery options are yuck, as you have a choice of static pics, slideshows or pop-up photos (but no rollover galleries. WTF!). Copying-and-pasting HTML links can be a ballache if you want to present them nicely, as their HTML editor is pants.

As long as there is no explicit nudity on your site, they will turn a blind eye provided that 1)your index page has an adult disclaimer on it and 2) you don't circumvent it by linking to 101 different porn sites (a subtle link to the Purple Site is usually OK).

With moonfruit, you don't use a third-party host, as they host it for you. That means you login through the front-end, rather than have ftp access, which for some reason seems to confuse the hell out of some SEO firms (muppets that they are).

People bitch and moan that moonfruit isn't going to appear on google, but that is wrong, as you have sections on each page where you can insert metadata. If moonfruit really was no good for Google, why would they have the option to install Analytics and Webmaster tools? The one functional drawback is if you access your moonfruit site with a browser that doesn't have Flash *cough*Apple*cough*, in which case the formatting does go haywire.

Hostgator. Never a moments hesitation in recommending them for hosting. Its also worth learning a bit about web building ( it really isnt that difficult - the design is the hardest part) and search engine optimisation. again not rocket science. I cant imagine relying on or being at the mercy of someone else when it comes to such a key part of any business .
