How Should We Refer To Each Other ?

25 posts in this topic

I'm intersted to know from both sides if there are ways we like to be :D ( or hate being  ) reffered to by each other.

The Ladies are variously described as SP's, WG's, Courtesans, Escorts, Pro$$ies or even tarts.

The Gentlemen are sometimes called just that, or Clients or Customers, and sometimes much worse  , in some of the posts elsewhere by the girls who do not seem to really enjoy the job.

Any particular feelings on these different descriptions, Guys and Gals ?

If referring to a guy I see for paid sex on a forum, I prefer to say "gentleman caller".

That may be too fluffy for some though.

I have on here at times called a guy a "punter" as that seems the general term on here to be used.

In my head I call guys who see me, "my guys".

Lucy :)

Those I've met have used the terms "escorts", "working girls" or just "girls" so those are the terms I tend to use as they appear to be comfortable with them - and they've talked about "clients" and "customers" which works for me.

I'll use the term "punter" and describe myself as such in posts, as it's an accepted term - not a term I'm keen on for some of it's other meanings, particularly those that suggest a "punter" is the victim of a con-artist!

When making reference on here I use "lady", as for what they call me, I have no preference as long as it's polite lol

I really don't mind what I'm called, as long as it's said pleasantly. The context means more to me than the word used.

As for my gentlemen, I call them that because that's how I expect them to behave, and 99% do. I noticed when I was working through agencies that the ladies who refered to their clients in a negative manner would come out of a booking complaining that the client had behaved badly - even with gentlemen I'd seen myself and had behaved perfectly with me. People pick up on negativity, and vice versa. I want my clients to treat me well, so I think of them in a positive way, they feel relaxed because I'm welcoming rather than hostile, and we both have a good time. It works for me!

Oh, and I sometimes use 'client' for variety!

On here Lady with a capital 'L' for me & usually 'regular' in front of that as that is how i view the Lady in question. As for how she refers to me, i really have no idea, outside her apartment that is.

I am a punter and a WG is a WG. I will always use these words. Far better than being called a "John" as i was in the 80s into the 90s in my view, my name isnt John. :)

Personally, I like "gentleman" and "girl" - it's the terminology of Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.

As Stephanie said it's context- between me and a WG mate or my partner we will use the term whore quite happily and it's fine, but in general a stranger calling me a whore I might find a little rude. However in certain dirty talking bedroom situations whore is also acceptable!

I generally use escort if I am talking about myself, but again I might use WG, prostitute or whore if it's with someone who I know respects me and I know it won't shock or upset them. Some men find it hits a nerve if a girl refers to themselves as a whore I have noticed. I use WG on here cos it's quick to type but I wouldn't refer to myself as that verbally, but nor would I be offended if someone did!

With regards to how I refer to the men- 'client' is the favoured word, I only might use punter on here because it seems the accepted term (the name of this site gave it away!).

I might also refer to clients verbally to someone else as 'I have a booking/appointment' or as 'one of my regs' (as in regular, not the name Reg!)

gentleman always seems a little pretentious to me. and guy a little australian.

and client always seems a little solicitor or accountantish.

punter seems OK unless everyone thinks i spend loads at betfred.

Thanks for the opinions, Ladies and Gentlemen :)

I use the term deliberately, as this seems to be the majority preference, although most of us seem to be able to live with other appellations, provided they are not too derogatory

I also dislike being called "A John" :( , despite it being accurate in my case, and the proper name from which I became known as Jack.

As a member of this forum, I am obliged to accept the term "punter", although it is not one of my favourites

Good point Lydia. In the heat of the moment, I have been known to tell a lady I like and respect ( and she knows that fact :P ) that she's a wonderful whore, and a fantastic f--k, or even a delightfully dirty bitch ( hangs head in shame :( ) Amazing how a gentleman can get to use such words to a lady when thinking with a smaller part of his anatomy than his brain, TeHe !

When i phone to book an appointment i ask for the lady by name, or ask which ladies are available.

During a punt i tend to call her a girl or use her given name.

Several ladies have refered to other customers as "gents" or "gentlemen"

Outside of a punt when speaking to friends that share the same "hobby" or interest i use the ladies name.

On site here i tend to use the WG phrase.

SP

That's the name she uses with the agency, or otherwise "professionally", of course, SP, and probably miles away from her properly "given name"

Nevertheless, i like your attitude, tend to do the same myself, and think the ladies appreciate being called by a "real" name :)

However, even the nicest of them seem to quite like being "talked dirty to" when things are getting heated :D

indeed. I think of it as their "stage name" or "working name" although, really, it's the only name I need to know. Just gets confusing when there's a few with the same name, or they keep changing it.

I prefer SP WG or excort.

For myself, client, customer or punter, because that's what I am.

I hated the term punter when I first joined up here. It conjured up images of smoke filled rooms, sweaty older men and functional sex to me. Having been here for a couple of months now, I actually think of myself as a punter without any negative connotations. Odd eh ?

As far as the ladies go, they'll always be ladies to me, especially the unladylike ones! I do quite like WG though, but that's probably because I am a lazy bastard when I am typing.

I usually say client when talking to other ladies, or friends who know what I do. Punter on here, as it's the dominant term.

I dislike being called a girl. Although I'm young, I definitely feel I've hit womanhood!

WG is handy to type, as Lydia said.

Whore, I like, but under very specific circumstances. ;)

I didnt like it when I started and I still dont. Punter just makes me think of a big fat sweaty gamblers or the old blokes drinking in the pub every afternoon. Dislike the term "John" as well but dont hear that used these days. Slang for a toilet! Charmin.

Client I like better as it conjours up images of a smart dressed individual. ;)

For the ladies:

Courtesan I used when I first joined here but got digs and moaned at for.

WG I use cause Its easier to spell.

Otherwise just girls or ladies. (Girls mostly)

I always consider the ladies I meet to be precisely that ladies.

Frankly apart from one exception the ladies I have been priviledged to meet have been very warm responsive and kind human beings.

I look forward to meeting the ladies I see and always would treat with respect.

Sozen.

A couple of my ladies refer to me and her other customers as her friends.
