9th Email

17 posts in this topic

I've just had an enquiry on 'another' site.

"hi love the profile can i call now to set up a booking?"

Was I right to respond with the following?

"Why do you ask? You've never contacted me after your previous 9 mails you've sent me since the 12th March this year? Joanna xxx"

Yes, I think that sounds fair enough! :D

It sounds perfectly reasonable.

Not sure I understand the problem here?I have however had experience of extensive emailers who ask more and more in depth questions in great detail. I usually advise I'm not the girl for them/they are not the client for me if they are having to ask that much before a meeting.

Strawberry, he's sent her nine emails saying 'Can I call you now for a booking', each time she's said 'yes', and each time he's not called!

If this is the ninth enquiry asking whether or not he should phone you then I think your response was fine. Honestly, if it were me I doubt very much whether I would have replied so many times to the same enquiry.

Ah yes I see now, thanks for that.

I've had emails for several years from a guy wanting a short notice booking, I've stopped replying asking him to phone because he never does.

I'd say that was a reasonable response. You have more patience than me. I'd have blocked him by now. lol

I know nine emails is over the top, but some guys (like me) do tend to ramble on in an email and are genuine.

It just seems my style to tend to write long email/reports, some of it is down to either wanting to explain or feeling knowing some of the details helps the nerves.

There is a difference between a couple of long rambling emails and persistantly emailing but never booking though. Theres nothing wrong with a long email to make sure you have gotten across exactly what you requre with your booking.x

Its the ones who want a long deep in detail account back of exactly what you are going to do to them that is an issue lol. mmmm tissue anyone.xx

If I were you I'd hunt him down and sever his fingers. That'll teach him.

Does he have history of sending pointless e-mails, for all we know he might be genuine.

Maybe it would be best to tell him that 9 e-mails is too many, and mark his card for him rather than just saying he is a time waster.

For some people it is a big step seeing an escort, and needs to be sure about seeing a lady and what its involved.

Having said that, once he gets past the enquiry stage, its up to the seller to convince the guy that she is the right sort of person he is looking for.

I really do think you've missed the point. He hasn't sent nine different emails, building up to a visit, discussing his hopes etc.

He's sent nine emails on different occasions, all behaving as though he's never been in contact before and asking if it's ok to phone her.

And shove those fingers up his arse just to reinforce the point

There actually are chaps out there, who nervous or not will send "Are you available?" emails or texts numerous times ever actually making a booking. There does come a point where you have to draw a line. If genuine they spoil it for themselves, if not well it takes all sorts.
