Police help with dodgy situations

16 posts in this topic

The other thread made me think. Would you go to the police if you were in a dodgy situation with a WG/punter?

Personally I would like to think that if I was mugged visiting an escort that the police would do something, but they might take the attitute that 'it's your fault if you do that sort of thing' There's some great police and some twats same as anything else.

Some of the girls on here have posted that the police were helpful with dodgy punters.

Any punters asked police for help?

Back in the summer there was quite a long thread about a rip-off merchant in Oxford. The punter did contact the police and reported that they got a sympathetic hearing. Sadly there was little practical they could do unless the punter felt able to stand up in court. Oxford's renowned for closing parlours, so makes you wonder what's happening. Best guess is that the copper on the ground is sympathetic to individual problems but then there's top-down pressure from the government that motivates those higher up to mount raids.........

No I wouldn't. I would take it on the chin and warn others via boards. Really whilst there are so many grey areas in the law, I see no purpose in involving the police or authorities. Equally i suspect it would need to be pretty serious for girls or parlour owners to involve the police.

It is a shame that this is the case but the police and authorities do themselves no favours when they act the way they do. In fact they encourage muggers, hold ups etc by their actions.

In my days of running parlours I found the police very helpful when we were robbed.

If you are a client who has been robbed you are a victim and if the police dont treat you as such put in an official complaint.

The police were especially good when that poor man died at our place. We were next to offices and the police told his family he had popped in there just to use the loo.

That's the way I think. Certain things I would ignore for the sake of safety and avoiding hassle.

However, if someone's sending in two big oafs to take money that shit needs to get shut down.

Indeed. In the past there have been numerous stories of agencies going to the police legitimately after having been attacked, only for the police to raid and close them down. The police presumably see it as a chance for a quick result and good headlines :D. I hate to be cynical and would have always trusted the motives of the police in the past, nowadays I'm really not so sure.

The Police are fine with independents. I know of several ladies who've approached them after being harassed by text message, or even in person by a client/punter. Some guys think it's acceptable to do such things since our contact details are in the public domain. The Police however say that no matter what job you do, you are entitled not to be harassed nor threatened and will/can caution the perpetrator under the harassment act. They can also prosecute but that does involve the WG standing up in court and possibly being outed - however I would imagine they would have some sort of anonymity scheme that would cover this.

Parlours making complaints are at risk since they are operating illegally, which is a little sad.

This is the thread in question. Took me a while to find.

The other site seems to be down at the mo so cant tell if the girl is still working or not.

Ive had the odd punt where all Ive been told is a road name and a BLOCK of flats. No number. phone when Ive parked up.

Could of been easy for someone to run up, stab me, nick the money that they know I would have and my mobile phone and no one, (unless I survive )would know why I was there and what I was doing. The girl would know where I was, that I have a wad of cash on me and that I'll be parking in a car park. All she (or boyfriend ) would have to do is wait for someone turn up, wait for them to ring and then direct them to a dark alley.

If something DID happen. I dont know whether I would go to the police. Probably not. Maybe post on here (and let it drift into obscurity).

Overworked, that trick could be still played if a girl gives you an address upfront - doesn't mean to say it's her place or that she lives there. You could get to aforementioned address, two burly males behind the door knowing you've got cash on you. Another one I heard from a client was he went straight to the address, door was shut immediately and they grabbed his mobile phone. Told him £50 to have it back, he had no choice.

I don't think guys have any trouble regards safety with the place I send them to park at, I even give them alternatives in case there is a problem!

Hee hee.

I like the parking spaces marked 'STRAWBERRIES PUNTERS'.

Mike

That would be 'Strawberry's Punters' otherwise it could refer to plurals of those who like fruits.

There are other marked spaces in that place but I think someone a bit more powerful reigns there.

You know when someone phones to say they've parked in the other recommended location, I've then got to text my thugs to run round and look for a guy on a mobile appearing lost. Caused awful bother with the Tourism Board, not to mention local shopkeepers losing trade.

:D

Oh great now Im even more paranoid! :D

So did he report it or is the girl in question still active and preying on other clients?

So if the role was reversed and the guy turned up and stole 50 quid and your mobile from you would you post his details on the Dangerous punter board?

Several years ago I had an experience where the Punter was thrown out by the girls. I still hadn't finished but the girls said all was OK. Anyway 10 minutes later I heard the police sirens and 2 police cars pulled up out side the block of flats. It was the Punter that rang them and made a compliant. The girls asked me to leave by a back door but the police were waiting there and just asked me to "walk away". Couple of days later I went back and the girls told me that the police talked the Punter out of making a complaint (the embarrsemnt, etc). Infact a couple of the boys in blue used the girls for massage!!! So these girls felt very safe!!
