Searching For Images Online For Fakes

9 posts in this topic

Hi all, I remember reading something on here previously concerning a method of searching for images to see if they belong to movie stars, other peoples profiles etc. I couldn't remember the method so wondered if someone could explain them to me for future reference. Thanks and best wishes

Dropping and dragging the image into the Google toolbar also works.

Saving to pc and 'uploading' also works.

Tinyeye never seemed very reliable to me. I used it to test when I knew there were multiple images and it told me everything was ok!

If you use this method on the "purple" it is quite useless nowadays. Apart from the fact you need to disable javascript, then they also add a little 'payload' to the picture, so you'll never know if it was copied or not. This is why scammers love the 'purple'.
