At What Point Do You Need To Start Getting Checked?

11 posts in this topic

Hi all, just wanted to ask (mainly for punters) at what point do you start getting your health check ups at the GUM? Is it only if you make punting a regular thing or should you go as soon as you've started punting (after your first time)?

I would advise anyone punter, WG or not to go to the GUM if they are having sexual contact with anyone. I go quartely myself.

Good advice too many people don't do this, think it's not applicable to them when it is very much so.

Yeah.

Ive known a few men of all ages over the last 15 years who have slept with 50+ and some 100+ women, mostly or almost all without condoms, yet they have never been checked up when ive asked them about it. Seems always the same old sort of tune that if they havnt felt any itching, coughing or anything then they must be clean. Ive asked what about HIV, they just kind of smug my question off.

My work colleague now, he is 40 years old, split with his wife several years ago when he found out she was having an affair, he has 3 young kids with her. Over the last few years he has been with several women he has never used condoms with.

I keep encouraging him he should go for a check up just incase. In 2 weeks time he is going down south to an hotel for 3 days where he is meeting with a couple of facebook friends - a 40y/o married woman who he has met before but not had sex with yet, and a 17y/o girl he hasnt met before who has apparently been with 20+ men, he says they say they don't want to use condoms. Ive asked him have they ever been checked up? he said no.

lol?

Yet all you hear about on the internet is people who have had their first ever one night stand and they catch something! Punters who have visited their first escort who didnt use a condom for oral and he thinks he caught something, etc.

Some people are just clueless when looking for tell tail signs of a woman having an STI or might have. Yet when i state on here or any forum how careful i am its like im the one who is treated as if im the clueless one or dont know what im talking about!

Un shaggin believable.

And those guys have never and never will go with an escort, they think they would probably catch something.

ha! unreal

Thanks for the responses peeps, all good for research. Whats the procedure anyways when you go to these places? Do you just phone up and book an appointment telling them what you've done and what happens when you get there?

You can arrange an appointment via your GP in total confidence, but, if this scares you, phone up and make a date. You can give a false name if you like. The important thing is to DO IT NOW!!

Google for a sexual health clinic in your area. They will see you without needing you to go via your GP and they may also allow you to go without even giving a name, but give you a number to use instead.

It's very important that punters as well as WGs go regularly even if they are (hopefully) having protected sex. I go every 2-3months. I only offer OWO and don't even have a boyfriend that I have unprotected sex with so my chances of catching something are very low but there is always that chance. Everyone should take their sexual health very seriously.

Okay, and do you then get checked and wait for the results before you go and have a booking with a girl who doesnt offer bb, or is it only th barebackers health that you care about...or do you only see girls who do bb, and ..of forget it ffs

Its simple really, you go every three to four month and keep yourself protected at all times.

you owe it to yourself, to your partner, and your chosen escorts.

And just hope that the sex workers you see do the same.

Condoms are always a must for penetrative sex.
