Does The Decor Effect Your Enjoyment Of A Punt?

27 posts in this topic

I recently decided to check out a different sauna to my usual. But after my third visit I've decided not to go back and stick with my regular place. The girls were as good if not better, but the place just looked a bit shabby, it was clean enough. Just the paint work and decor were very dated and shabby. I just didn't get the feel of the place.

As long as clean a opposed to shabby or cluttered with a shower/bath and a bed i am not too bothered about the decor.

Affect. Definitely. They're shabby in their shabby place. Sorry, I just can't stand obvious bad spelling - and English is not my first language either, so enough with the excuses.

Yes I much prefer the place to be clean and look well maintained (same applies to the ladies!).

I went through a phase of punting with ladies who had their lampshades crooked! I put them all right without charging a fee. It just seemed silly to me not to put a simple thing right.

Yes you are right I know how to enjoy myself.! :P

I also prefer the premises, furniture etc and the lady to be clean and well maintained. I haven't straightened any lampshades but I have straightened paintings and photo frames in the lounge and/or bedroom when the lady hasn't been looking.

I'm getting very concerned, Paul, about what else we may have in common. Perhaps I'm affected by mutiple personality disorder but my altzheimers has the effect of preventing me from remembering.

Confirmation of the problem I believe - Alzheimers :P

Doesn't really make a difference if i'm going for a budget punt....you take what you find

I once went with a girl from AW whose place was an absolute wreck. Her boyfriend was obviously in the other room for safety. And her rather worrying pitbulls had to be locked away to get me into the bedroom  It was very worrying and off-putting....but with the adrenaline pumping i managed to perform admirably

Some of the Soho walk ups can be pretty seedy and shabby too. Always fun once the clothes are off though, i have no problems focusing on a sexy naked body in any situation

it the quality of the bed that matters more than the wallpaper and stuff.

Clean and tidy is enough for me. I don't go to see an interior designer.

If her place of work is not clean, all sorts of things might be lurking in her nooks and crannies

I do not study the ceiling either. If you are paying about £2 a minute, you might as well get a good view of the lady in action rather than her decor. :)

I am obsessed with making pictures and lampshades crooked to annoy her following clients. ;)

Thanks ZZZorro. I now know who to blame for my ricked back, caused by falling from a chair when fixing sexy suzy's lamp shade.

Couldn't agree more although I would say that a certain standard of cleanliness should be expected whatever the "donation". If you are paying £170 you, quite rightly, expect different surroundings etc than if you are paying £70 and vice-versa. That doesn't mean that you expect or accept that the services the lady provides should differ that much. As for the ladies that apparently are charging £250 to £450 if you can get that much more for a man's ego then good luck to you !! If I win on the lottery you may see me so that I can prove myself right and give you the opportunity to prove I'm wrong. I think it's highly unlikely.

Cleanliness is essential for me. I paid £350 an hour a number of times and the premises were no better than another WGs who i paid £100 an hour to, and a read of FRs sometimes says the same. Just like with paying more not guaranteeing better the same applies with premises in my experiences. :)

Being of a certain age ....The main motive for a punt is no longer to prevent the bollocks exploding. These days I'm buying illusion, sensation and pampering; ambiance is important. Going back a few years, anyone remember Tiff Tees decadent little place, decorated with naughty Edwardian and 1920s french postacrds or Sandy of Newcastle's immaculate shagging pad?

I remember reading on here years back about how annoyed men were when they turned up to a place to find nowhere to put their cloths, no coat hangers or chairs etc and they were sometimes expected to put their cloths on unclean floors, not good that if your slipping out in your lunchbreak and wearing a business suit. I was a little taken back that there were SP's that were that unthoughtful let alone men that would visit them.

Being a Taurean the decor in my home is an extention of my personality, and as a large amount of my time was spent in my love nest that had to be the same. Not much point in spending hundreds on sexy underwear and then getting lost in a grimy room IMHO, you have to carry the illusion on with your surroundings surely.

I hate those times when you have a shower and it hasn't been cleaned for years - you know, brown grime all over it, hairs, smelly towels etc - and all the way through the punt I'm thinking that I've got to go through it again, but this time with a very wet towel. Its horrible. This business should be legal and regulated and showers inspected weekly. Grubby shower owners would be banned from working.

ROFL! Really, ROFL. I haven't laughed so loudly for a long time. Great posts Zzzorro and BillGoldberg!

I am afraid I have nothing to match this so won't even try.

I was just today in a ground floor flat that I thought was a bit under par when I went in. Nowhere to hang said business suit, nor suggestions from the lady to help in this respect, rather loud from the street (with a well used bus stop literally right outside the window) although the room itself was reasonably clean and there was no sign that Zzzorro had been there before me.

I didn't give a preverbial s**t! She gave me a fabulous time and I not only smiled the whole way home (1 1/2 hours journey) but still feel totally satiated now, five hours later.

Can't say I've frequented saunas though. Maybe that makes a difference?

I don't see why correct criticism such as........shower could be cleaner.........could do with newer towels.......should not be put in the FR.

Very nice home.... well furnished and comfortable bedroom....attractive lady....very personable....provided all the services I required....had a very enjoyable time....etc....etc....unfortunately on the minus side the shower could do with being cleaner and some new towels wouldn't go amiss.

I don't think that anyone would be genuinely offended by an FR similar to the above and hopefully it would have the desired effect.

What kind of hell holes are you going to? The thought of what you described with the showers and towels has just made me boke up my dinner lol. I take pride in either my apartment or my hotel that I use and not only do I offer clean fluffy towels but I have quality gents toiletries for my clients to use while showering. I think its very important that my clients come to see me in a clean, safe, immaculate place and depending on what city I am in I charge accordingly to cover these expenses.

If you are on a budget though and your visiting saunas then really I think as long as its clean thats the main thing.

Or it could say...."She sucked like a Dyson...but unfortunately there was no way any other vacuum cleaners have ever been used in the flat!"

When I look at the phots on the other side, where possible I look at the decor, and get turned off by greasy hair marks on the wall, tatty carpets, chipped and dirty paintwork, grubby wallpaper is a a no, no. But the big passion killer for me is women with a picture of their kids (or someone's) in the background, or in one case, what appeared to be an aunt or granny. Sweet, eh?
