Can't Always Blame The Agency...

17 posts in this topic

I used to use a B'ham agency a few years ago and thought they'd gone off the radar. I'm not going to name them because, as in the thread title, I don't blame the lady who runs the agency and naming would only hurt her business, not those I'm frustrated with. I started using Bella in the city and Madison runs a fantastic show, but they're closed until 2013 and I'd fancied the look of a girl on the website of my old agency for some time.

Tried to make a booking a few weeks ago and the owner (who used to escort herself and was a right dirty so-and-so!) had said she could make a Tuesday evening. Made the booking but when came to confirm was told she had decided to quit and her other girls were turning down work and only accepting bookings weekdays 9-5. She shared my frustration at the obvious clash with working life and said she's told her girls that they were called 'ladies of the night' for a reason...the girl's profile was taken off the website.

I left it a few weeks and her profile reappeared. I called and spoke again to the owner who said she was still having issues with her girls, who on the one hand were asking for work as they were broke, but then turning down weekend and evening bookings. She said my girl had again quit! just my luck I thought.

Then get a text early Mon morning (owner knows I'm single and ok to contact) and says she has asked my girl to see me as she knows I'm a nice client and recommended me. I said I could make this evening (Tuesday) but as I finish for the year Thursday could do Friday during the day to accommodate her. Was told 7.30 Tuesday. Spent all yesterday and today completely distracted and looking forward to having dirty fun with a curvy, busty brunette.

You know what's coming. Get all spruced up and ready to head down the M6 into the city and text to confirm first. No reply from agency. Called the owner who spoke to me at length about the problems she's having with her girls; clients travelling considerable distances to be disappointed as girls have gone AWOL or making last-minute excuses. Out of fifteen girls, none were contactable for availability when I called, and my girl had turned off her phone. The owner was so apologetic, and said she would have come out of retirement but for her own childcare commitments.

I told her not to worry as it's not her fault, but it is so frustrating to be let down. I don't blame the agency and understand that this profession isn't for all, but for fifteen ladies and none to be even contactable, very disappointing.

I've texted her to say I'd still love to see the girl in the new year if still on the books, but I'm considering doing what I did earlier this year and going to parlous where I know I'll get a service and seeing if any ladies I like there would be interested in a hotel meet. I was gutted when one of my two parlour regulars moved away - we'd had some fantastic threeseomes - and it's not been the same with the other girl since.

Don't know what I'm expecting in terms of responses, just wanted to air my feelings (as I can't just call up a friend and chat about these particular frustrations) and I suppose to ask if I'm being too easy-going in not being critical of the agency.

Here's to 2013 brothers.

Sorry to hear of your woes, as you say here's to 2013!

But all that seems far to complicated for me - when I punt I don't want to have to invest a large amount of emotional energy and effort in arranging everything up front - detracts from the fun somewhat!

Bit good luck with your future punting endeavours, hope they go well for you

I would be inclined to avoid any of the ladies you can identify; clearly they lack the commitment to making a success of escorting. Try another agency or go back to the one you favour but ask to see new ladies and tell them why.

Actually, you can blame the agency, With any business you are as good as your staff and that means hard work in getting the right people, keeping them happy and motivated. When you're the owner and making the profit the buck stops with you.

I agree with the other posters, why on Earth are you still bothering with them, surely it's the agent's responsibility to make sure staff are reliable.

Sounds like a terrible excuse for an agency to me ?

I assume it must be hard running an agency, and keeping everyone happy, but when the owner tells you how bad some times it is, and says she would come out of retirement if it were not for her own childcare commitments, then your not going to get consistant or regular bookings no matter how often you try.

look around for other agency's, or independats, many escorts would value good regular punters.

I have tended to visit independent ladies in preference to using agencies. That way you get to deal with the person who will make your punt the success you hope for or the failure you might deserve, depending on your manners etc.

Removing the third party makes communication mush better.

It is one of those boasts "anyone could run an agency!" So, you get yourself ten women, a phone and a diary for bookings. What could go wrong as you wait for the money to roll in?

When you read stories like this you realise how good the dependable agencies are

you have tounderstand something about this business it's od,d strange, crazy, weird whatever, never think you are dealing with marks and spencer or whoever that is your mistake. The most crazy situations can happen when you are in this biz and I have let people down sometimes bec to see a gent when you have all manner of things go wrong is bad bec you will not be giving a fab experience he has rightly paid for. In my experience take it that you escaped without wasting your money bec the last thing you want to do is see someone whe ntheir day is crashing for 100's of untold reasons. xx

Interesting how the guys, whilst recommending avoiding in future, are a little more sympathetic whilst it is the ladies who view the situation more, shall we say, firmly.

I usually use Bella who are by far B'ham's best agency but the agency I used to use were very good a few years ago. It is right that any agency is only as good as its staff but when the owner is tearing her hair out because of unreliable staff - and she has sacked a fair few already - you have to sympathise. Although the story of a guy commuting from London to the second city to see a girl only to discover she'd been taken out shopping by her earlier client would've made my blood boil if I'd been the London guy.

Like I say, going back to parlours in the short-term I think; maybe it's a case of holiday season and when an impromtu party crops up - they are girls in their twenties afterall - that seems a million times better than a cut of £150 for servicing a complete stranger.

Cheers for your thoughts and all everyone...

Its like any business, your only as good as your stock. I thought about running an agency myself once but from experience know that its really hard to find reliable girls so decided against it. Bet they are all lining up for work come Jan though.

Thats many a true word Holly, its a very lucrid industry and attracts all sorts on either side.

Sadly con artists and time wasters are a bane of this, and spoil it for the genuine people.

Just so long as us blokes have been saving up our punting funds!

Definitely, thats the price of taking a third or more of a WGs fees. If a WG is unreliable get rid and get someone reliable, i know this may not be easy as some WGs are clueless but the Agency owner chose this line of work so should know the pitfalls. Personally i no longer punt through Agencies after too many bad experiences in the past and in London they are far too expensive for my liking in any case. As i have no wish to punt at 3am i will stick to Indies and Parlours 121.

I totally agree with your last sentence, and its also often far cheaper to cut out the third party in punting, i do so whenever possible or ask a Parlour WG if she works Indie and she gets more of my cash and i pay a bit less, a win, win for me and the WG.

I really dislike most agency's. I first started with one two years ago and they were ridiculous, I don't know how they are still around! Always late, drivers falling asleep outside, intoxicated drivers, girls doing so many drugs and getting hammered, dirty office and the list goes on! The worst thing is some clients did actually blame me for being late when it wasn't even my fault. So all that on top of having to see 4 guys or more in a row (which I really dislike anyway) and at stupid o'clock in the mornings, plus the fact they take half your money well it was like a godsend when I was introduced to AW and I've never looked back. They never screened calls properly either, they would just send you to anyone. I like to control everything myself and speak to the client directly, and if I get any bad feeling at all I won't see them. I'm sure there are some good agency's but I can't understand what's more appealing than being indie but then like me I didn't even know anything about going indie when I started.
