So Upset!

49 posts in this topic

I really am so upset about what has happened tonight. I had a client who I had seen before call me last night wanting a booking for this evening. It got late so we didn't end up speaking until today. The communications were not that good and I thought he was looking for an outcall as he previously had, but he actually wanted an incall and it was a little short notice as I was already out and planing on going straight to him but it wasn't a problem and we agreed 9.30pm. I told him the basic area and to call in a couple if hours and I would send the address through. We did speak on the phone but mostly had been communicating through text (I was only comfortable with this as I had seen him before) and I asked him about 8.30pm if everything was still okay and what wine would he like me to get. No response. By this time I'm back at the incall location and getting everything ready. It got too after 9pm still nothing. I call and he cuts me off. By 9.30pm I tell him I am extremely confused as to why he has messed me about like this and he could have just let me know if he had any issues from his end, and to please not contact me again unless he is wanting to make a genuine appointment.

Then half an hour ago I receive a text telling me it's my fault and me who has messed him about as I assumed I coming to his (even though we agreed 9.30pm at mine) and that he doesn't come to sleazy motels as he is not desperate. Firstly he wasn't exactly direct with his communications and never specified initially if he wanted an incall or an outcall, and secondly I have absolutely no idea what the hell he is going on about. I rent a nice apartment not some sleazy motel?! I kind of recall some clients saying in the past about some 'motel' not far from where I am but I would never work from a hotel let alone a sleazy motel. I said I am highly insulted and he is extremely mistaken and he didn't even have the decency to speak about it with me directly and find out the truth. My field reports with the location on will clear this up anyway.

I'm just really upset. I'm not looking for sympathy at all but what on earth could I have done to have avoided this? From now on I am going to make sure I tell people I work from a private discreet apartment and not some sleazy motel!

This fellow sounds like an utter creep and very disreputable.

If I were in your shoes, I would warn my other close escort friends (if you are friends with other escorts) and blacklist him. Then he won't mess them around.

No working girl needs to be insulted and spoken to so horribly.

Actually, you're right, I was talking to an escort friend today and we were saying even after years of this we still get wound up by the timewasters and the rude. But really, the answer is do nothing and move on!

This sort of thing happens to all of us from time to time.  Even the best laid plans can go wrong.  Your next really nice client will help the memory of this to fade away into oblivion Kylie x x x x

NO ONE likes to get messed around but it is par for the course.   We have to learn to take it on the chin and forget about them.  NEVER think that just because you have met someone before and all went well that all will go well the next time.  I have read in many posts of regular clients turning on girls.  Im happy to say it has never happened to me but that is more luck than anything I think.

Best advice is to move on and remember tomorrow is another day.

Go and have a glass of that wine you bought for the booking.  You will get all of it to yourself now.

It's his loss, not yours. You sound to have tried to be as accomodating as possible and he sounds like a complete tosser. Be thankful you found out his true unpleasant side early and at nothing worse than a few insults.

Let off some steam.....never let him back....and then remember the good guys out there and move on :)

He was perfectly nice when I saw him previously and was texting me up until a couple of hours before the appointment. Real shame.

Just ignore him in future. His loss. I had a guy text me the other morning at 6.20am, raised my bedraggled head to text back and got a load of abuse for it. I wouldnt say my name in the text as it sounded a bit sus, as if he had possibly been caught out so I pretended it was a wrong number and got a volley of abuse. Idiots like that we can do without.

Sorry to hear of your predicament.  With regards to avoiding it.  I know you were out and about, so it was not easy, but perhaps ask him to call you when you got back to confirm details, as he had not been to your place before, which is where the confusion came.

Having said that, it seems he jumped to conclusions and not being sure filled in the blanks for himself due to impatience, so it may have been worse if he had turned up in that bad mood.

As the others have said, deep breath and move on.

It may make you feel better to know that being dicked about by clients is not a pleasure which is exclusive to WGs.  A "friend" of mine is in sales and on many occasions has driven more than 250 miles to visit a company director of a major corporate who has expressed an interest in their services.

On arriving at client premises, my "friend" has on many occasions been informed by a PA or receptionist that she is:-

- There at the wrong time (oh yes, it is is his diary confirmed electronically, perhaps it's an IT error?)

- Going to have to see somebody much more junior, because the important person is "busy"

- Going to have to come back another day because the said director is off sick

- Some other boll*cks

In each case, there are probably turnaround strategies, but in essence, her time was wasted to the tune of a 500 Mile round trip - a circa 10 hour drive  and in many cases, overnight expenses.  The point I'm making is that even when you know the name of your customer and they are accountable, they still dick suppliers around.

Don't take it personally.

Thankyou for the comments. I have made some mistakes in the past but I really can't see anything that I did wrong here. I do have a strict booking procedure these days but we had met before and I guess I kind of let my guard down. If I have seen someone before though and we got on well I like them to feel abit special, and they don't have to go through everything they did the first time. Ie, phone first, booking request, confirmation ect. I just trusted it was okay from his communication with me and it was going to be a decent booking of 90mins-2hours anyway.

And yes I am now drinking the wine that I kindly brought for us both! Lol

Paul I'm not like that. I thought he was a genuine guy and I am just upset by the whole situation. I'm even trying to still give him the benefit of doubt in my mind!

You do actually have my sympathy but I would actually make that last bit very clear in future, the guy does actually sound a dickhead, just remember which of the two most are ruled by,

I say on my profile that I work from an apartment but he obviously didn't read it! However, I have a very long profile so I don't blame him entirely if he didn't see that but he should have just asked me and all this would have been avoided! Unless he had other intentions and this was some kind of 'plan' I guess to waste my time, I'll never know.

And by the way this type of stuff does not actually happen to me very often, I'm lucky that most people don't waste my time so I suppose when it does happen I take it extra personally.

Your profile is not apparent from your membership data on this site so I cannot comment on it. However, there are far too many idiots who can't  read profiles properly. Should we blame the government?

I had a similar issue at the weekend. A guy I have seen before several times rang for a booking and then just straight pulled a no show...I texted him and said if you had changed your mind thats ok but you could have told me, am very surprised with you, unless you have a really good reason please don't call again for an appointment...got nothing back not even a sorry.

Its a really crap part of this job sometimes Kylie. You are entitled to feel upset sometimes we are only human. Try and look forward now and block the silly twunt. Regardless of where he thought you were, he spoke to you in a crap way.
