Have You Signed The Petition To Help Irish Sex Workers?

9 posts in this topic

Awesome! Alan shatter is refusing to discuss matters with us. Myself and another lady had to fight tooth and nail to get invitations to the last conferences.

I signed very happily but I wish to ask just how many Irish sex workers have signed a petition to help me? :P

I was disgusted when I found out WGs had to picket outside our parliament in the hope of an audience with these man haters and redneck gobshites(who are absolutely intent on pushing the Swedish model through provided there's no constitutional concerns and also on making WGs suffer for giving into mens' appetites so cheaply)!

Their treatment is a cause for huge concern, Amnesty International and the body responsible for overseeing our implementation of the UN convention for human rights should be actively involved here! Also the committee is examining ancillary matters such as denying an individual the right to purchase a sim card without his/her ID being registered and also preventing Internet providers from granting access to Escort related sites, yes, Punternet included and making downloading them the equivalent of downloading child porn, even if legal where they originate!

Yes, I have signed and posted the matter on the main Irish political Discussion board along with my disgust!

Active Irish sex workers, whose opinions are the only ones that really matter will be allowed in partial form at least to speak before the committee!

Details from Belle De Jour ( Brooke Magnanti:)

Wednesday, 30 January 2013 is the target date!

I think the pro the criminalisation of the client side of rad fems and orders of nuns (mickey dodgers) have been a bit rattled by the articulate and reasonable arguments put before the committee by the Common sense side!

Their PR machine may be indulging in some dirty tricks to combat it, e.g. producing fake ex Prostitutes to do media interviews crying for male criminalisation!
