Actually, Eve was the name of the lady who took my virginity.  in the front seat of my car while her sister and my mate did the deed in the back seat! I still lust after her after over 40 years. She was an angel!!

I think that whether the lady is Arabella or Agnes........Zandra or Zuleika the name will be sexy because of the connotation with the services that are on offer. Every lady's name will be sexy. :D

Depending upon how she coped with your handbrake, I bet she hasn't forgotten it either. :o

Nah...it doesn't hurt, but some of the hottest girls have the most unsexy names imaginable and vice versa lol

My last punt was a chinese girl who went by the name of winnie, to me winnie is not a sexy name, it sounds like a 80 year old grannies name or a nickname for an anabolic steroid.

"winnie" was extremely sexy though...I'm glad I didn't make a decision based on her name

Usually I'd say the name of the girl plays no part in the choosing process, I'd always go on the pictures and reviews - however I have been put off by some names.  Nora - seriously, why choose the name Nora? I just couldn't bring myself to be with a Nora.

I'm quoting my own quote, as I have just discovered this;

"Nora - Also used to describe women of great Beauty, beautiful babies are often named nora as they beleived that the name would give the baby good luck.  Some Scholars say that Nora also means "the enlightned one", "the Beautiful one" and also "the wise one".  In high society most women are named Nora, because the name entitles Nobility, Beauty, Light, Grace and Wit."

There is a 'Nora' on a popular agency site, perhaps I will have to change my opinion

I agree!!

I am very put off of booking the MK girl Santana for the fear that i will arrive to find a dude with a tash playing the guitar

(Though surely a moustache that can play the guitar must be a very talented one   )

I was wondering if some girls base their name on what the name means as to give a hint as to what they are like or value, or is that giving them or most of them too much credit?  If not I think the girl or agency should code the names to help us anyway.  Or does the girl always decide?

Sofia smart girl.

Vivian: bubbly friendly (as in the film)

Alexandra: kind sympathetic.

Abby

Anna

and so on..

I like soft sounding foreign names ending in -y or -a, but if a Bridget or other scottish/irish named girl was an amazing girl I wouldn't complain much.

For me:

Sofia is actually one of my favourite names but I wouldn't call my kid that because ignorance is too much bliss/strength. :)

Isabella

Adriana

Catalina

Poliana

Milena

Allyanna :P

So much for the -y names, I can't think of any now!

Bottom of the list

Olga (apparently with the correct soft rouski g it still doesn't sound great :( )

Alessa, Andressa (one of my favourites, maybe cos it sounds like undressher? idk :P)

Well, so far the trend is for names that end in vowels, 'a' in particular. I'm not going to buck the trend, as Samantha does it for me... possibly because I fancied Fox, Janus and her out of Bewitched (the US tv comedy, not the irish girl band!)

Ah, those were the days.

I see them down at the Bingo every wednesday afternoon, the zimmer frames can be put some good use and they dont charge as much as they used to do...

course an hours appointment with anyone of them consists of 30 minutes getting the clothes of and a further 10 minutes climbing the stairs, so I usually go for the full 90 minute booking.

Lol. I was just thinking if you had two girls to choose from, both looked like your sort of girl and one was called 'lets say' something like Vixen, whilst the other was called Beatrice. Would the Vixen be a bigger pull because the name is more suggestive?

After reading the Mistress thread would you be more likely to go after a girl who named herself something like 'Secret Mistress', if you are looking for someone more mature would putting 'Mrs' in front of the name like Mrs Jones or Smith be a pull and conversely if your after a PYT or a fluffy type of girl would something like Candy Kisses tell you that, or doesn't it matter at all?

I'm inclined to think it makes no difference what the name is (within reason). I'd be influenced by pictures, statistics and anything that comes across from the text about attitude or humour. A name in this context is just a label. It's not as if they were brought up being called "HoneyBunny".

I say within reason. If the name was something like Doris or Gladys or Gremlin, I'd begin to worry about the girl's marketing skills or common sense. It would be similar to when Datsun brought out their latest shiny new car and called it the "Cedric". (Yes, really.)

:) Mistress Daisy.. sounds like a challenge !

There aren't many names that are suggestive are there though.. unless you go for a surname with it - annas angels angency is the only one I've seen that does and it's quite funny.  I'd like to see a Foxy Funbags or something to go with Kate Moist et al...

That what I was getting at. If the lady is a gentle soul and offers a perfect loving GFE but was called something like Sexy Siren Scarlet for example, wouldn't a guy booking think she is more likely to be dominant or into the P.S.E? I've been running names through my head for someone that is sexy, confident very self assured but more dominant and can think of nothing that actually sells those skills.

Ah...now I see, yes I think the username can initially grab your attention when you are skimming through search results and make you want to click on their profile to find out more about the girl if her name seems to fit the description of the sort of girl you are looking for

If a name can make a punter read more of a profile on Adultwork, and attract our attention, as seems to be the case reading the posts, why do we choose such awful names for ourselves.

Surely if the same logic applies, then the escort is going to agree more to seeing "Joe average", than "Mr Wonderfull IvorBigun", or "fatfiftyfucker".

What you say is true about the right name attracting the guys to read a profile. We are all more likely to take a peep at "Sultry Sarah" in preference to "Ethel Evans".

However, when it comes to choosing awful names, you really should explain what your moniker means (apart from sh*t in Polish!), or explain how you chose it, without giving too much away, of course.
