Thoughts On A Celeb Lookalike Agency?

28 posts in this topic

Hey all,

Im currently in the process of setting up a London celebrity lookalike agency and website. After a lot of research I havnt found one single lookalike escort agency in the world, so is this something that is missing from the industry and is it something that there could a demand for.

Im basically just looking for feedback from the community, if the lookalikes where up to par would you consider booking from a lookalike agency? what are your thoughts on this idea?

Many thanks in advance,

Dean

No is the simple answer. Seems a somewhat insulting idea to want to have sex with someone just so you can imagine they are someone else.

But i am sure others would disagree.

Wouldn't have much interest from me either. But that's probably because I don't have an interest in the celeb culture which is being pushed by the press

While there may be no specialised lookalike agency, it seems to be a common practice among agency to give an escort a name that might hint at some celebrity.  I remember just after the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge several brunettes with nice bottoms popped up on agency sites listed as "Pippa".  Seems to be though, that if you were more explicit, stating this WG does look like such-and-such a celebrity, you are going to end up with a lot of disappointed clients who decide the resemblance is close enough.

Or a lot of pissed of celebs.  The press would have a field day with this one I think.

First, there may be legal repercussions. Be careful. And these celebrities are rather powerful. You don't want to get sued by one of them.

Second, most of us care about the action much more than which celebrity the lady resembles.

Third, how many WGs are there that look like one of the celebrities.

Fourth, most punters will not agree that a WG that is claimed to look like celebrity_X actually looks like celebrity_X.

Fifth, this is my opinion only (now that you asked); I don't book from agencies.

Too many disappointments. And I want the lady to be able to keep every single penny that I give to her.

I am a dead ringer for John Prescott. Would such an agency take me on, and would I be able to earn a decent living?

If the answer to both these questions is "yes" then I'm all for it!

You just gave me a great idea.

Boxing matches with politician lookalikes. Bare knuckle. £100 for 15 minutes.

I suppose Dean could play it a bit safer by only using lookalikes of celebrities who are no longer around to complain.  I reckon it is already widely done in a half-hearted way.  I mean, how many blonde, curvy WGs have you seen advertised under the name "Marilyn"?

I do wish this subject had never come up though.  I am now haunted by the nightmare vision of punting with Jeannette Charles.

Maybe there isn't an agency in the world because there is no market for it, or that it's just too difficult to get decent look alikes to make it work. Also if a girl wants to escort and looks very like someone famous she would be using that to her own advantage and not via an agency?

This would probably be your biggest problem. The next would be when the celebs themselves find out.I can imagine it'd be quite hard also.First youve got to find decent lookalikes, and judging by some of the supposed lookalikes on some agency books at the moment is going to be pretty hard.

Then youve got to find ones that are willing to escort,so further narrowing the field.Even if you could find enough looalikes of current/in demand celebs to make an agency worth while you've still got the problem of finding enough punters with the cash to actually book them as i can see them only taking an escort booking if it paid a nice lump more per hour than they could make from a standard lookalike agency.Good luck to you though

That's a good point.  I know a couple of lookalikes that are on about £300 an hour, some get a lot more than that.

Crazy isnt it.I used have dealings with quite a few entertainment agencies. Some of the lookalikes of the more popular, more in demand stars could creep into the 4 figures.Obvious its not all good, especially if certain scandals hit the celeb youre making your living from impersonating.

I saw someone who from her pic in a parlour looked like a celeb.

In real life she was less so but enough to have attracted my interest.

But otherwise only interested if it was a lookalike that lookalike one of my favourite women and that is a doubtful find.

As already said, surely impossible to get a worthwhile number of close enough lookalikes to staff an agency so a non starter I think.

But by all means surprise us tho it will be out of the reach of my pocket for sure.

Interesting idea for me from a personal point of view.

My first ever punt was in the 1970's in New York with a Linda Carter ( Superwoman ) look-alike. She was very good at her job :P  ;) and gave me a taste for tall, slim, busty girls that lasts to this day, although she was stretching thing a bit in her claim to look like Superwoman  :(

I wouldn't go for it, because presumably such a service would charge a premium. I could pay a huge amount of money for a Natalie Portman lookalike, or for less I could see another pretty young brunette who ticks the same boxes looks-wise. I've come across a few escorts who claim a celebrity resemblance, though in all cases either they bore very little resemblance to the celebrity in question or the celebrity they resembled was not, shall we say, top drawer.

BUT... Assuming you could get enough girls who looked sufficiently like the celebrities, were willing to become WGs and were good enough at it to justify the price, I don't think you could be sued for simply operating a lookalike escort agency, provided that you made it very clear that these were not the actual celebrities - as I say, plenty of escorts claim to resemble celebrities anyway. Might even get some good publicity out of it. I could certainly see the Daily Mail running a "[CELEBRITY] SHOCK AT LOOKALIKE SEX AGENCY" story with lots of outraged claims and photos of the girls (so everyone could see how degenerate and sinful it all was and be appropriately disgusted, of course).

add my name to the list of members who think there would be legal repercussions - say you had a girl that looked like *drool* cheryl cole - you couldnt actually advertise that as you would probably get sued

So the punt was with a Linda Carter lookalike that didn't look like her??

Plenty girls have a casual ref to looking like someone famous, especially on parlour sites written by the owner or someone so I doubt there would be a legal issue if  not crassly worded..

Bella Emberg? i think you're deluding yourself, dear. That cock-crushing busty? That straight take-me-make-me hairstyle? that straight out the gents toilet street-savvy voice? That je ne sais quoit?

keep trying lady but I don't think so.

I hear you were and still are beautiful, sexy, intelligent, grounded. You'll just have to settle for that, love.

not interested in the concept you describe. Several of the reasons mentioned above (but by all means, try it if you think it works, you never know..)

slightly off topic, Sometimes a description of a lady peaks my curiosity.

A Nicole Kidman resemblance... (yummi in some of her movies)

An air of Sandra Bullock.., but sexier.. (yes! have known a few of those, one was a long  time regular)

Gemma Artherton (book immediately!)

Susan and Geena as in Thelma and Louise...

And of course: Carol Kirkwood (There used to be an ex-WL, turned agent, looking like her)

That sort of subtle marketing may work much better.

If you ever get anywhere with this and end up with a Katherine Jenkins or Kate Bbeckinsale lookalike on your books then let me know!

Would guys really want to pay extra to F**K a lookalike? Just  because she looks like somebody famous, does not mean she will give a good service, maybe the opposite even.
