Not Turning Up

9 posts in this topic

A former regular of mine, who disappeared without a word, is suddenly back on the scene.

She is a real beauty and before I could stop to think I was on the phone exchanging hellos and I told her I wanted to see her and kind of agreed to meet her on Monday afternoon.

She works via an agency and for whatever reason always wants me to book via the agency despite losing margin to them.  She therefore expects that if I'm going to see her I will make the formal arrangements via the agency.  So as we left matters there is no booking actually arranged, only an expectation that I will book.

After we spoke however, I had second thoughts.  Frankly, she is expensive and addictive.  Just when I'm beginning to make long overdue progress on controlling my punting budget, do I really need to add this girl back into my 'schedule'?

I'm really thinking that having moved on from seeing her as a regular It's better to leave things this way, rather than turning the clock back.

So the question is, do I call or text again to tell her I won't be turning up, or do I just not book and forget about her?  The former may be more polite, but then it's not as though she was bothered to let me know when she disappeared.

To call, or not to call?  What would you do?

I would call and tell her that something has come up which prevents you making a booking for Monday. That way neither of you will be too upset.

Yes. let her know, she might turn down other work or a social engagement or have to shift things about in her personal life if she thinks you are booking.

As above, just make a simple excuse why you can't and then leave it. No need to explain.

As ever if i rated her enough i would be punting with her and not caring that she didnt tell me she was disappearing previously, i had this scenario with a WG myself and had some great punts upon her return until she disappeared again. Enjoy while i can is always my thinking.

In this case i would let her know you cant make it asap and then not contact her again.

I think you'll wind up going to see sooner or later anyway, so you might as well just take the plunge. And if you decide after that not to see her again...

I do feel you should let her know that you have not booked her, she will probably respect that.

Youi have the right to make or cancel a booking so long as it is done with enough notice, and you have a genuine reason, so the answer is at your finger tips, if your escort has asked you to make a bookig via a agency, then I dont see what the problem is, you have not made the bookng, so why d you need to cancel a booking you have not made.

You told her you wanted to see her again, but she asked you to go through a agency, its then up to you if you wish to pursue this route or not.

Maybe a text is a way to let her know your not going to make the booking, but remember that she didnt think enough about you to inform you that she was going away, dont make the mistake of thinking your important to her, when your just a client.

Thanks everyone.  I have appreciated each and all of your feedback.

My own sympathies tend to lie with Spklors view, and my fears with Tompunt1's.

However, I have heard your counsel and acted upon it by sending her a text.  No reasons given, just won't be down tomorrow.

Now let's see if I can actually stick to my resolve.

I think that's the best idea. Plus, should you change your mind and decide to see her in future, there'll be no awkwardness.

I understand about wanted to cut down but to have a gorgeous lass your guaranteed a great time with at your disposal is like gold dust sometimes...
