Retirement

Good grief, 355,000 men, that doesn't presumably cover the repeat visits!

My mind instantly went into mileage:

355,000 (+repeats if not counted) x average length x average number of strokes.

How many times have they punted round the world :D

Good luck to them and may they have a very long and well deserved retirement.

Aye, t'was a real corker. I always post with my iPhone and get some real typo clangers in there occasionally. I've learnt to quickly proof read after posting in case I missed something :D Glad I edited before you quoted

I read somewhere that if they joined all their stockings together (from years of working)  they would stretch around the world five times over.

I wonder if they would qualify for the Guinness book of records then?

OK I lied but found the thought amusing x

Fair play to them both, and that they have a long and happy retirement.

Good luck to the twins. They have served mankind well. Would be nice to see a photo of them from a few years ago.

I regulary see a lady who will be 65 this year. Fortunately she says she has no intention of retiring as long as she is wanted and is fit to do so. She is 15 years older than my wife and 15 times better in bed!

Well good for them. These two have just simply gotten on with the job for 50 years.

what simpler and better statement could be made.

Typical! As soon as you find yourself a regular pair of blonde twins, the up and retire on you! ;)  Still, good luck to them. They should probably get a medal.

I think my fanny would need a re-tread just like tyres if I had covered that many miles!
