Sundays in parlours busy?

13 posts in this topic

Just a naive noob's question - the parlour I went to on last Friday (first time) is only open weeknights till 8 which doesn't fit in with my work patterns at all - not if I want to get home through rush-hour traffic, shower/shave and head out in traffic again and get there at a reasonable time.

So it looks like I'll have to be a weekend warrior kind of guy for a bit.

So, how busy do parlours get on a Sunday? I'm not sure whether the "day of rest" (yeah, right...) means that more clients will be there and bookings harder to get or family obligations mean the opposite.

No doubt obvious to the experienced but hey I'm trying to come up with an excuse to not appear in the office every couple of Fridays and struggling

alot depends on who's working and whats going on, most places would be open.

As for busy well what would you prefer hanging about or getting down to it;)

Normally yes, can be effected by sport and weather.

Girls like early appointments on a Sunday as they feel refreshed and full of joy after going to church.

Fascinating! I think the the posters thus far are from the South?

Most Crewe parlours offer a £5 discount on Sundays in an effort to attract business!

Normally yes, can be effected by sport and weather.

To add to that, half term can also make a place quiet!

With all the sport on at the moment Madam Beckys doesn't bother opening til 3pm on a Sunday we find it to quiet. After 3pm is usually a pretty good day though.

The Vicar will certainly be preaching rather than punting on a Sunday. :D
