Miss B - Story In Todays Sun

37 posts in this topic

I noticed an interview with Rebecca Dakin (AKA Miss B) on todays Sun website in which she says she now works as an infidelity counsellor.

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/woman/real_life/4889529/hooker-turned-relationship-counsellor.html

Good for her, it's great to see her doing well in her new career. I never got to see Miss B but from her website and reviews she came across as a very genuine person and was definately on my 'to see' list before she sadly retired.

As for the article, she gives the reasons why she believes men punt, she did however miss the reason that got me into punting and that is to expand my sexual experiences. I married very young to the first woman I'd slept with and after a few years It became obvious I felt I had 'missed out'  It took me about 15 years to act on my impulse to seek out new experiences and I have done so over the past 6-7 years seeing escorts of each age group, size, colour etc (with a couple of duos and parties thrown in for good measure) I've now come to the stage where I think my little hobby has run it's course. I still read this forum and keep up to date with the scene so I guess it's not completely out of my system but I haven't actually punted for nearly seven months now, and the longer it goes the less inclined I feel to pick up where I left off.

Anyway, it was good to hear that Rebecca has managed to make a success of herself after leaving the business, the only saddening thing was to read some of the nasty comments that had been left, but I suppose that is par for the course in these days of computer trolls.

Usual Sun exaggeration.  Becky wasn't that expensive, £700 would have been an overnight.   Glad this is working for her though.

As Barbie of Derby you’re right, but by the time she’d metamorphosed into Bea the courtesan she was way too expensive for my pocket!

Snap, except my last one was only 6 weeks ago. I actually walked out of a large Brothel in a European city last week when I realised it just wasn't doing it for me.

Regarding Bea, she was always good fun on here, including the Chatroom. She was attempting to market herself as a Dating coach, maybe she's changed tack.

A musing aside, almost on topic. In former days men sent their sons off to prostitutes to teach them the ways of love ready for the wedding night. Wouldn't it be great if we could send wives of to escorts for training up in the ways of sex beyond the missionary position! I suppose the escorts would say they were drying up the pool of desperate customers ie husbands to sexually indifferent wives.

(tossing a hand grenade into the mix it is my view that 90% of women are totally crap at sex and believe turning up and demanding their orgasms is all they need to do)

I'm happy to agree with that, but only on the basis that most men are pretty crap at sex too.  Doubtless we could get some WGs to give us their honest, unbiased, and commercially-neutral :) opinion on the matter...

Some civilian women need to grasp the basics of personal hygene. I meet some most days, fortunately I don't have to get intimate,  maybe that's why their husbands prefer a professional lady.

If I wanted to be really bitchy I might suggest that many women stop having sex with their husbands because they are lousy in bed..

If I were feeling bitchy, I'd agree with you.

They should be helping them rather than just saying no but it does go both ways.

I thought that was what you meant.  And I did invite comments of that nature with my earlier post.  Of course, you're excluding all the men present here, all of whom are total studmuffins who can keep it up all night long. ;)

Being a sex worker doesnt neccesssarily  make you good at sex, many are prudish, even with their boyfriends, some are actually sexual incompetents, but that goes for girls in civy st too..

I thought Madame B was running a brothel specifically providing services for disabled clients? Or have I got the wrong woman?

After she had done with 'Escorting', she wrote a book .........  I never read it but someone else did and said she basically tried to say she never had sex with her clients and disliked seeing older men.

This was a woman who marketed herself at the older - more inclined to book for longer/overnights/wine and dine/taker her on holiday - type of client.  I cannot imagine any of them reading her book would feel comfortable knowing how she really felt !

Oh why, do they feel the need to write books after they have retired especially when they were unremarkable (sorry but true) and now, in this instance, to insult people by trying to glue marriages together when she was part of the break?  Eh?

I find it hilarious when when men claim their wives to be rubbish in bed. So presumably the men are good, whatever 'good' means, as surely its different for each individual. Also, I do wonder if men say their wives are boring and only like missionary position then surely that says a lot about the mans technique. Or maybe she does not find him attractive.

Isn't sex meant to be mutual and to be good at it means to be attentive, responsive and imaginative?

I think many of the men on here have convinced themselves that they are great lovers due to being involved in the paid sex scene where the women they are seeing are making all the right noises. The wife does not have to do this, hence the man thinking that she is rubbish in bed. I would imagine if you are not interested in your partner, then missionary would do just fine thank you very much, lets not prolong it by changing position.

The idea that only prostitutes are 'good' at sex also makes me go 'hmm'. I think some of you men need to face facts that you have huge intimacy issues with your own partners or you are picking the wrong partners for the wrong reasons. Either that, or you are stuck in some 1950's time warp where women put up with sex without enjoying it.

Well I  hope she really is teaching the women who pay their good money to her something thats worthwhile them knowing and will actually help them and that she doesnt look on them with the same scorn she must have for her clients if she bitched about them in a book. Yes she will teach a few women a few blowjob tricks and a few "oo be spontaneous" tricks but if a guy doesnt fancy his wife anymore which is sometimes the case after the years have gone by then no tricks will tempt him back into the bedroom when all he is happy with is the remaining friendship. This woman could actually cause marraige problems if two people have been happy to settle with the friendship relationship, the missus goes off and learns how to suddenly give a cracking blow job but the mr doesnt actually want it from her anymore...shes gonna want to know why he doesnt want it from her anymore..fireworks x

I remember seeing a docu after the whole Belle De Jour ( hope i spelt it right) thing.Publishers saw the success and went actively chasing/throwing money at other bloggers and others willing to write a book.Add to that the vanity publishers contacting people telling them how they feel their story would make a brilliant book/sell millions etc.It all becomes very tempting. As for the part of the break up bit.For that type of trade, the guidance etc her past makes a great selling point,in the i've seen it all/all the reasons sense.

Unfortunately i'd be supprised if she was doing them much in the way of good.I wouldnt say she'd look on them wiith scorn per se,more like cash cows :) They'll get the blurb about why she believes that marriages hit the rocks, why he might wander. As we've seen on here, theres many reasons. If its a variety thing, then nothing she does will help,if its a they dont fancy eachother at all any more, again nothing will help. Also theres a limit to what a person can be taught. Also, lets face it,quite a few that she has seen wouldnt have told her the truth anyway.

I have a feeling the teaching will more go into finding out if and how the OH has been up to no good as that really seems to be the better seller nowdays
