The Whole Period Thing

17 posts in this topic

Sorry if this has been discussed before but this is an interesting topic. I say so because over the last couple of weeks I had 3 consecutive cancellations from ladies who got their periods "early". 2 of them admitted that their periods where due a couple of days after the meeting but were surprised it came early.

I actually have had sex once with a girl towards the end of her period, it was cool, a little bit of blood, weird turn on, kind of like defloration in a weird way. But obviously at the start of the period it gets messy and the lady will be cramping etc.

My question really is to the WGs on the board, do you have a "buffer" zone of some sort where you wouldn't book a client because you know aunt Irma awaits and shit can go wrong?! I think this would be fair. It is really disappointing to get a text only a couple of hours before a meeting cancelling like that...

After writing that it has also occurred to me that it might not really be aunt emma but just an excuse to get out? LOL, tell the guy it's a "woman's issue" and your off the hook?!

IMO, working girls shouldn't be too fussy or cancel bookings when it's their time of the month.

If they start bleeding while you're balls deep in 'em, then throw a bit of water on her fanny, mop it up with a tissue and you're good to go again :)

Alot of ladies use sponges when they are on their periods or take contraception that prohibits their perood or means it comes at a set time every month..so it does seem a bit odd you getting cancellations from 3 ladies in a row due to this.I also can't say I've heard of a lady telling a bloke she can't see him because she has come on..for other reasons maybe but not putting it onto an early period.

Do you always have this effect on the ladies you book?

Personally I'm lucky in that I rarely have periods, especially if I'm doing a lot of sport add to this the fact the contraceptive implant is also known to disrupt menstruation making it either one way (constant) or the other (not at all) - when I do have a period it is completely out of the blue, then I may have 2 or 3 on a 4 or 5 week cycle so still difficult to pinpoint.

When it does happen it's fairly light, but can have the odd very 'bad' day that would defeat even a sponge(which is I know what some guys expect us to use). In the last 12 months I think I've cancelled everything for this reason only on two occasions, and quite conveniently happened to have my period whilst on my hols or planned day(s) off. I just don't think it's professional to have someone travel to a booking, arrive and then be limited in what we can feasibly and comfortably do.

I am aware some guys think this is a 'fob' off, but hard luck what would they rather do?I can't speak for anyone else but if I use it it's the truth.

I have also seen guys post with horror at the times when a sponge has leaked on them, and according to replies on forums this is also unacceptable - so what are we supposed to do?

Na I just think its the cramps that are just uncomfortable really. First time this has happened to me, hence why I was wondering...

I guess it was just an unlucky coincidence.

Your question was do we have a time we don't accept advance bookings due to our cycle?

For me the answer is no because I genuinely cannot accurately predict the times when I will menstruate,  they may occur 3 or 4 times on a nice 4 weekly cycle, then nothing for 3 or 4 months. Apparently quite normal for the implant and someone who goes through periods of high intensity exercise. Last time I had one at 4 weeks after the last, then next at 5, then another 3 weeks later. Only one of these clashed with a booking/day when I'd planned to see clients.

I was just replying to the guy who said she should have went on with it, because if she has cramps then it will not be such a great time.

Thanks for your answer though. I just find it strange that 2 of them told me that were "expecting" their period in one or two days and still went ahead with the booking. Obviously I don't know much about this. :)

To add to what others have said I very rarely have a period due to my contraception and have no idea when one might appear or how long it'll last. I usually let the guy know and am honest about what's what and let him decide what he wants to do. Sometimes men just want me to do things to them and no sex so it's not an issue for them.

Incidentally, an orgasm is the best thing (for me) for cramps!

I don't use sponges, pills, or anything else to hide/stop/delay my periods, so I am firmly in the camp of having to tell men that I can't see them due to my period arriving unexpectedly. They've all been super-OK about this.

3 ladies in a row is either unfortunate or unlucky.

Unfortunately for me as probably for a lot of ladies my cycle is very irregular.  But it tends to arrive on a weekend so I have some notice but I wont work my days and only offer oral or tie and tease.

there has been the odd occasion that a day after a cycle that there will be a bit of blood and then I just sponge until I am sure it is clear.

Hence me saying alot of ladies not all...I find it odd/unfortunate/unlucky whichever that 3 in a row would have their periods arrive early.

Some WGs clearly have a very predictable cycle. This from a US independent escort's web site:-

  • April 25-30 (monthly promotion) is BBBJ week (45 mins OWC no FS) requires a gift of $280

I have had points in my life when my cycle was like clockwork both due to good fortune and then the contraceptive pill. i have also had times of total chaos with  no cycle whatsoever.  I think most women would have experienced similar throughout their lives and  really sometimes we have no idea when we're due on and have no symptoms.

It's also really horrible having sex with a stranger when you think you're due on any moment so some will cancel to err on the side of caution!

I hope the replies here has shown the OP that often 'women's issues' are very real and we don't all use this excuse to get us out of things we don't want to do!

(I haven't since swimming lessons in a very cool pool at school. They soon twigged when I had 3 periods a month!)

Was just wondering if the women he's booking work together, because sometimes that can cause synchronised periods.
