Jumping Cursor Windows 7

6 posts in this topic

Dunno if this is hardware, windows or application issue.

but in firefox, when typing into a forum like this, sometimes the cursor jumps and lo and behold, you are inserting your new stuff somewhere in the text above.

I have noticed this happen a few times and its driving mrs CP mad.

Gona test if this happens in chrome or if just FF

anyone any ideas?

I get it as well, particularly on my iPhone, and I use internet explorer (despite all the good advice to dump it).

Are you using a laptop?  I find that happening with mine and think it is caused by brushing the track pad with my palms or thumbs.

Had the same problem a while back, looked it up on a forum somewhere & it solved the problem:

Go to: Start>Control Panel>Mouse>Pointer Options

Click: Pointer Options Tab

Un-Check: "Hide Pointer While Typing" check box.

Click: "Apply"

Click: "OK"
