Is A Hand Job Considered Prostitution?

27 posts in this topic

Hi

So lets say that you have a massage and then get offered a HJ for extra - would that be classed as prostitution?

Thanks

For those that do not think it is a sexual service or classed as prostitution, ask the same question to your other half!! :D

A handjob is still a job... so if you're paying somebody, then...yeah :P

Depends on your definition of prostitution.....

If you define "prostitution" as having sexual intercourse for financial recompense then I would say no a HJ  isnt prostitution...

In this vein a HJ would simply be viewed as massaging a part of the body.....

...and if the OP defines prostitution like that then he's wrong. It really isn't that restrictive.

Actually maybe none of it's prostitution...maybe we're all just giving lingam massages with our yonis! haha

No it is not prostitution since money has not changed hands in your statement.

but the law in England and Wales states that a prostitute is someone who gives sexual services for gain.  not even money has to change hands, so barter is covered.   But it doesn't define sexual services.  But most reasonable people would consider any act where genitals are touched to be sexual.  So a lady giving a HJ for cash is clearly a prostitute, according to law.

Brilliant! Utterly brilliant! Forget the law, and try reality!

Spot on, 100% dead right!

It doesn't actually! It rather depends on the law in application wherever you are. Where did your definition come from? I think it wasn't from any of the several different British jurisdictions, was it?

It's a bit like when ladies, agencies even say "But payment was for time and companionship". Firstly prostitution is not illegal in this country, secondly the authorities including the judiciary are not stupid and trying to claim otherwise can make a person look incredibly shifty. I also think the police, judges et al really don't like it when people try to be smart with them.

It's up to the individual what they consider prostitution, but at the end of the day make sure you are not conning yourself, or trying to justify some behaviour you are truly not comfortable with. A few men consider not kissing, only having hand contact as not cheating, or not as bad. Not as bad as what and if your friend or partner, son or daughter did the same, either service provider or service seeker what would you consider it?

I've even heard of people outside the scene say their friend made a point of saying she provides massage and nothing else, then seen reports online which make it clear there is further action available. If I offered massage and nothing else I'd not bother to say there was nothing else on offer, because there'd be no need and I've never heard a beautician, or sports masseur ever say "Oh there's nothing else on offer".

Watching a sexy dancer strip is entertainment, as is pornography.

no, cos you aint allowed to touch.

But as a lot of places are lax on those rules when money is down it is once sexual touching takes place as its designed to arouse x

Many people here mention 'touching' as an implied boundary between prostitution and non-prostitution. Not sure it would be as clear as that if the issue was pushed.

The Oxford Dictionary of Law defines prostitution as 'the offering of her body by a woman for sexual intercourse or other sexual activities in return for payment.'Other sexual activities' could cover a multitude but certainly a hand-job would obviously be included, though it could be argued I think that a woman stripping in front of a man surely constitutes 'sexual activity'. A key point to remember of course is that prostitution per se is not illegal.

If i did something to a stranger in the tube for which i would get arrested for indecent assault.  OK  well if I paid for the same thing, then whoever I paid would be a prostitute.  Thats how I see the boundary.

so groping tits, goosing etc

So if you give a handjob to your boyfriend in return for a present technically thats prostitution. Gotta love this countrys laws sometimes. It means every female out there is technically a prostitute if they wont do sex stuff with their boyfriend unless they get something out of it too in the way of goods (a pressie), services (fix that broken bit in the fence) or cash (housekeeping) haha x

Obviously that wouldnt go the mile in court because as someone has had to point out yet again, it legal in this country but if your bowling around the technicalities then...

Time for a merger then x

This is why it has been said that the difference between paid-for sex and sex for free is that the former is cheaper.

It makes me laugh when I see people who provide sexual services for money vociferously defend what they are doing as something - anything other than prostitution.  if you are showing your fanny and your tits to someone up close and they pay you for that then you are a prostitute in my book.

A handjob is a handjob is a handjob.  A hand on a cock is a sexual service even if she does not wank you :)
