Are Any Of You Punters Friends With Other Punters?

24 posts in this topic

I don't actually know any guys at all who punt - I always wonder if punters ever met up or became friends in real life? I always wonder if such guys would turn out to have similar personalities to myself - particularly around my age group. However, all connections of that nature seem to be limited to the internet only. If anything it seems to be the number one priority on any punter's list to avoid other punters. When fuck-ups happen e.g. double booking, or two wgs at same flat having sessions at the same time causing two punters to turn up at the door...it seems to really drop a hairy spider in the man's coffee.

So yeah, is my feeling that it is highly unusual for punters to meet up for a pint or whatever here and there?

Not something I would want to do by choice as I keep my punting hobby to myself.

However, will be looking to explore MMF in the future, so will have to establish some rapport with a man during and after a punt.

I bet you do know some guys who punt ... you just don't know which of the guys you know they are!!

In years gone by there used to be the occasional PN social party, which was a great way of getting to put names to some of the faces and I have occasionally made direct contact with another PN member who I deduced lived not too far from me (from the location of the girls on whom he posted FRs) and arranged to meet up for a pint.  I'm sure I'm not the only one.

I punt on occasions with buddies of mine when I go to HK. We've been friends since uni times and we've always gone into China to play together. Literally a gang bang, there's usually at least 3 of us up to 6 in our punting group. Good times.

Some Boards have social events and individuals  'click. Some blokes agree to meet up when one or more of of their 'regulars' or Board acquaintances  tour the area, for a social evening with the ladies.

Friendships develop which can go far beyond what might be expected. For example, I've met up with a guy who was bringing his wife to the area for a respite holiday.

And often the paid sex scene is hardly mentioned in the chat during the evening.

Just people who have found that they get along, and trust each other to keep to boundaries.

I know more than a few of my punters have punted or still do if you get me.Thats through them chatting at work either to me or whilst i'm stood there.Whether they know i do i have no idea.Generally i don't share much with my punters,my life outside work i keep to myself.
As for bumping into someone at a punt, either when leaving or through double booking. On my second punt i went to the same establishment as i had been to on my first. They were letting me in and explaining the lady i was there to see(the same lady as i had my first ever punt with)had had her booking extended and did i want to come back later or see someone else.Whilst she was explaining this one lady was seeing her client out.Me ebing me,nod a poliet hello to him.Well you would have thought i had stopped and asked to book his grandmother by the look he gave me.If that response is anywhere near typical,i have a feeling that not many friendships are made in that way.

only met one guy from here many moons ago.

to be honest, i think a secret like this would strain any friendship, so I think it will remain a lonely hobby.

If virtually counts then yes I am.

Some of these 'virtuals' may well become friends during my next trip to the midlands and surrounds.

Maybe further North if I can extend the trip.

Quite a few of us McPunters up here in the People's Republic of Caledonia meet up socially to chat about the hobby etc.

My best mates are all punters I've got to know through the forums.

Its nice that some of you guys socialize with other punters. I can totally relate to that feeling of loneliness that transpires over time when none of your friends share your hobby. I always wondered what it would be like hanging out with other guys who punted - instinctively I wonder if I'd feel more normal. I wonder if any Aberdonian punters meet up here and there - I doubt it given it being a small city and with such a formidable plod temperament...

I've meet quite a few other punters at the parties here in the US. Got to know a few fairly well & there's a monthly lunch gig.

It's good to have a non-virtual outlet for the social side of this game.

I've only got friends on this board. I would enjoy meeting other punters socially but have never done so previously. Another site used to try to organise something but it was always well down in the South East and / or on days I could not make. If there were a social nearer to me ( W Mids) I would be up for it. Problem is organising it ( not volunteering).

Otherwise, I want no one to know what I do.

I exchange e-mails with two or three fellow punters, generally about topics we have posted on. I have no desire to ever meet them.

As CP wisely says "it will remain a lonely hobby".

Paul: why you always go through some stages: posting a lot for a few months, then disappearing, then staring being active again?

We have 2 or 3 socials a year in the Hull area organised via the local punting forum.  It's nice to put names to faces. Some guys you get to know their real names, others stick with their forum name but it matters not and in any event people only reveal stuff they want other folks to know.  It certainly adds another dimension to our secretive hobby.

You get lots of guys turning up at sex clubs and parties in groups after maybe having gone for a drink first or afterwards.  Your all doing the same thing so why not socialise together too?
