"...what most of Britain's 80,000 sex workers experience - violence, drugs and abuse."

Really? How do they know?

"But when I saw my client - a 65-year-old, bald, overweight banker - I was bitterly disappointed. Although he was wealthy, he was certainly no Richard Gere."

Bald and overweight! How dare he even think of having sex with someone! He should just kill himself, to be honest...

"Sleeping with him was degrading and depressing, and although I made hundreds of Pounds, I lost my dignity and pride."

Why do it then? Were you forced to?

"After several months I was making £1,000 a week and felt I had to carry on working as a hooker as I loved the money."

This is such an amazingly stupid comment I can't even be bothered to say anything about it.

"Although I liked to refer to myself as a high-class escort, the only difference between me and a street prostitute was that I worked in a hotel room, rather than a back alley."

Well, in the fact that you are both selling sex, yes... that's like me saying 'the only difference between me and a sweatshop worker is I have better working conditions, and I get paid more'

(Talking about a man who tried to rape her) "I was petrified and luckily managed to escape without contacting the police."

Luckily? Would the police have locked her up then? Does that mean this potentail rapist is still walking around free?

I hate the Sun so much... maybe I should stop reading it (I only read it online, I never buy it I hasten to add)

Yes, I always refer to The Sun for its honest, objective, non-sensationalised attitude towards sex workers.

You hadn't expected a balanced article aimed at people of normal intelligence I hope?

The only time I look at the Sun or similar papers, is when I'm waiting for a haircut. Every time, I skim through looking for something readable, and every time there's nothing.

Like you, I don't know why I even bother to pick it up?

The Sun has taken a stronger anti-WG stance since Rebekah Wade became editor. No surprise, isn't she on the record as wanting to dump Page 3 but can't muster up the support to do it

I don't think Wade is editor any more - she's moved up having kissed enough of the Murdoch's backsides.

The Sun is only good for Page 3 in any case, and we can get that for free on the internet, so I'm told.

Because she didn't contact the police there is no record of the incident that anyone can check, and so luckily for her she is free to continue perpetuating her canards..

..oh sorry, I meant the Sun is free to continue perpetuating..

This is one for you, Jimmy.

Girl in the article claims to be "high class hooker like Belle-De-Jour".

She loos like an everyday slapper, according to the published picture, as well as her dumb quotes, never even meantioning her dealing with a rag of dimwits Sun.

She comparing herself with Brooke, who are highly educated, very smart, possessing social graces, and with incredible skills of putting pen on the paper.

Hope you can see the difference now.

that's because she's really a fully paid up guardianista, and is just a token woman for Rupert to say he's pursuing an equal opps policy.

:D

Todays news is tomorrows chip paper

Sadly not true any more. These articles also go on the paper's web-site and can be googled months or years later.

It'll soon be some of the others too, they just need to be patient (including me).
