Been Contatcted By An Escort

23 posts in this topic

Hi all,

I have been reading the topics on here for some time and now find myself in the position of needing some advice myself.

I have been contacted by a local escort on AW who said she had read my feedback and that she liked the sound of me.

After exchanging several messages over the last week she has said she would like to meet me next week.

I have checked her feedback and it is very good. She doesn't want any payment just to meet in a place local to her and see how we get on.

Everything is telling me it must be a scam but if it was surely she would have bad feedback.

What do you think?

Cheers all

will she be paying you for your time? If not, then why did she make unsolicited contact with you?

Most vanilla dating sites have pages of warnings and advice on meeting new friends. If you feel this may be a scam then follow such advice and you should be OK.

Meet in a public place and don't get taken in to going back to her place on a first meting.

Take only the money you will need for a few drinks and maybe a meal.

Tell someone you can trust where you are going and ask them to call you at a set time if you haven't called them.

I bet lots of the ladies could also give advise on your safety and security.

I would take sensible precautions and go for it. You can always walk away if you feel uneasy.

I was under the impression that only service providers could cobtact service seekers only if they have contacted the s.p first.Things such as flirts etc were disabled ages ago as service seekers were complained about being spammed. So have you contacted this lady first or do you have your profile set as a service provider?

Good question Bibi.  It seems very strange that a SP would contact a complete stranger for no strings fun in this way, unless your some sort of an Adonis on your profile that is.

Either way, if your gut is saying Scam then go with your gut is my advice.

If this isnt a complete load of shoe menders then have you checked what her fb is for?Is it definately for escorting? You also dont know if she is the original account holder.Have seen a few, that after the initial owner gets a few feed the pics suddenly change to someone new..
Generally i live by the old adage that if it seems too good to be true then it probably is

As far as I am aware looking on aw right now..i can only contact clients that have emailed me or booked me already...I can't randomly send emails to guys that haven't emailed me already..I do know some clients decide to also offer services in the hopes some lady might 'book' them...I would be wary.

Not true, I was contacted by a couple for their services on AW, we exchange a few emails and spoken to them on the phone but never go through with it.

Well I'm not sure how they have managed it completely unsolicited as when I go to clients who have hotlisted me,as a setvice provider whwn I click on send message it comes up with flirts and proposals have been disabled. So I would be interested to know how someone has managed to send yoy an email like this on adultwork if you have your profile set up as a service seeker.I've veen on adultwork for a long while and its veen that way for as long as I have been on there. Are you sure you haven't emailed them initially?Perhaps they had a different profile name?Aw makes a big deal of the clients not getting spammed. Or anywhere else, for that matter  :D

I was contacted on a "vanilla dating site" ( thanks for the description, Paul  ;) ) by a "ahem" Lady who said she wanted my body !!! As she had not seen the state of me  , this seemed odd, to say the least !

"Oh NO" she said, "I am not an escort", when I asked for a link to a profile page or web-site for her, but she did expect a financial reward for her "time and company"

Her reasoning was that she could not be considered "an escort", as she chose who she saw by filtering the replies she had, or picking the guys she wanted to see, from that site

As it turned out, her "rates" were quite high , and I am able to find better    :D , and more reasonably priced  :) Ladies from my own researches.

Maybe I'm slightly off topic here, but I hope my experience of this may be of help to the OP ?

Some of the best I have known are what you call a "hobby whore", but I prefer to refer to as "enthusiastic amateurs"   :D

I'd meet her. It'd be interesting.  I can look after myself. I'd find it a turn as well meeting a wg out of context so to speak,  I was contacted by a wg off aw who wanted me to act as her manager.  I said no because I knew I couldn't afford the time for it.  I regret now not meeting her and getting to know someone who does gb for a living

My guess is through 'Reverse Booking', they can email to people who has RB on AW system, so far there were two emails received when I had RB on, could you verify that if you are on AW system?

Yep that sounds like an explanation!I'm not sure myself as I rarely bid on reverse bookings.

What do I think?  First and only post.  No responses to the advice he courted.

Troll?  Maybe?

Though stranger things have happened you can bet your bottom dollar that she has contacted other guys on there with the exact same message as I cannot see any other reason why a service provider would contact a client apart from financial reasons

I had a SP contacted me for 3some with her boyfriend at her place, of course i rejected it. it's not worth to risk it, there is no free meal in the world.

Must be a troll - who was ever contacted an AW inviting for a get to know each other meeting before booking?

Generally I won't accept it. For a WG I won't see again (but is very good), I made an exception. At the end of the first booking, she proposed a booking the next day (her time was up, but it went faster than to our (=her and my) liking). I would say no, but I decided to say yes. And yes, I paid her, instead of she paying me.

Normally, a WG may propose a booking, but then either it should be free for me, or she pays me, instead of me paying her.
