The Etiquette For "no Thank You"

33 posts in this topic

Had an odd experience.  The lady in the room was almost certainly the one in the photo, but lets just say the photos were  several dress sizes ago!  Said she was size 10, more like 16-18!

To be honest I thought, no thanks. not my type at all!  But I'm too polite to say "no thanks. I am off!"

How do others react to this senario? Thankfully it hasnt happened too often!

I think you have answered your own question. A polite "I have changed my mind, sorry" will suffice.

If you are feeling a bit brave, you could also tell her why.

If she is a decent, experienced WG, she will take it in her stride. If she goes off on one, you know you have had a lucky escape.

Never, ever go through with a booking if you aren't going to enjoy it. It's just too much money to throw down the toilet. It also excuses behaviour such as unrepresentative photos and expectations that punters are all mugs waiting to be ripped off.

I particularly love smiths' story where something like this happened and she mouthed off at him. He gave her a pound so that he could then write an FR about the experience. Respect !

I wouldnt ever do that again, that was me wanting to follow the rules that money must change hands so i could do a FR. ;)

I agree with Kantos, however i used to think with my dick and virtually always punted anyway. My advice is if possible have a plan B option and walk, either give an excuse or tell the WG the truth why your walking. Its your money obviously so if a WG has lied thats her fault, dont lie and punters might not walk. Nowadays i couldnt and more importantly wouldnt punt with liars, they turn me off instantly.

It is awkward - but you just say sorry from your ad I was expecting someone petite.

I said no once when I was surrounded by a flat load of pissed off eastern european women - I just said sorry I've changed my mind and I let myself out. Another occasion when I probably should have said no is when someone gave me really naff directions - it took me ages to find the place, stopping, phoning again. I pulled up outside the house (it was alone out in the sticks) and she was standing there in nighdress - she looked awful - late 40s - I must have been mad. But with all the hassle I decided to get something - to be fair she had a decent set of knockers and was game enough - but christ she looked rough. I suppose I should have turned my car around and just kept driving.

It happened on my second punt. Attractive lady about 3 stone heavier than her photos and, by her own admission, 15 years older than her stated age. Because of the distance travelled and my inexperience I went tgrough with it. Not the most memorable if experiences.

Nowadays I would have a plan B and use it. Benefit of hindsight.

I went on a speculative punt once (in Leeds) to a house with a sort of lobby which locked on both doors - the outer door to the street was obviously some sort of remote lock. So in I go to see two pretty awful women, both with fags on the go and so I immediately said errrrr no thanks so on the way out they played the obvious little game of keeping me locked in the dark lobby do a few minutes ....... Most unnerving!

I wouldn't be polite I'd just walk off without saying anything.

I'd agree with that. If I've been deliberately mislead there's no reason to offer any explanation, I'll just walk.

I've twice visited WGs who proved to be 3 or 4 dress sizes larger than advertised, & one of them was also around 10 years older than her advertised photos. On both occasions I politely told the WG that I wouldn't go through with the punt, and the true reasons why. There is little point in either simply walking away or in pussy-footing around giving some vague generic diplomatic excuse - it doesn't go any way towards making the respective WG understand that just maybe she should stop misrepresenting herself, misleading punters & wasting their time.

It's not complicated. If she has put on a load of timber & you don't fancy her then you say it as it is.

First girl I ever saw was so ugly I couldn't even get wood: she was far "plumper" than her pics suggested, but the icing on the cake was her facial hair... or lack of it. She shaved. Like... borrowed her other half's razor and used that. She had stubble.

Fortunately, kissing was not part of the deal(!)- the reason I was there was the massive knockers. And they were big enough, even for my tastes. But she was singularly unwilling. Glad we only agreed half an hour!

Perhaps best to do that quickly, before you're on the end of an incredibly angry hand job!  :D

This sort of behaviour continues because most guys are committed as soon as they knock on the door and feel that they might as well go for it. It's a rotten tactic. Who knows though, the government may extend the Trade Description Act to cover escort advertising! A whole army of trading standards officers will descend on the adverts and get to work making them honest. Armies of lawyers will advertise on tv offering to take your compensation case on a no win, no fee basis!

I'll just go and lie over here in the dark for a bit.

It'll only stop when everyone walks away from bait and switch

Does that mean we will get even more phone calls offering to assist us with making a claim for miss selling?

I used to frequent a massage parlour (well one girl working in a flat), different girl each day rota type thing.  Went there once and the maid let me in, lead me to the bedroom and sat and waited for the working lady.  When she came in I was mortified.  Really strong west country accent (Ooh arr me lover - type thing) and she was ugly as anything.  My dick flat-lined almost instantly.  She asked what I wanted, I was too polite to tell her I didn't fancy her, so I thought if I ask her for a service she wouldn't do then when she refused it would spare her feelings.  So I asked if she did BB.  She then said "Yes but it's an extra tenner!".  Quick as a flash I said I never had enough and would have to go to the cash point.  I legged it down the stairs 2 at a time and obviously never came back.

I'd walk and tell her exactly why.

If she has deliberately misled me with old photos, then politeness goes out of the window.

I often travel upwards of 100 miles for a punt, as I do infrequently so it has to be somebody who really does appeal, so if I had spent all that time driving I wouldn't be a happy chappy.

Keen Punter, does it happen often? Hopefully not, but if so, consider getting them to send camera phone pics?

Never happened to me, because I punt rarely now I tend to be very careful about who I choose to see.

Glad to hear. Ps. guys, a really good photoshopper will be able to avoid it, but when looking at pics, look for straight lines near the WG's stomach, bum, legs, arms. If the Venetian blinds or lamp looks like it's turned to liquid, and follows her curves, the pic has been photoshopped drastically.

e.g.

Good advice.

I tend to go for girls who have natural pictures rather than professionally taken ones, because you get a better idea of what she will be like.

"Sorry, but this is not what I was expecting." As she cheated, she will know what you mean. I've read recommendations for printing her pictures and bring them with you could be a safer measure, but I've never done it.

I also screen for amateur pictures only, while keeping in mind that anything that is not shown, it's not flattering. With amateur pictures, the reality has always been better. Airbrushing is not always as obvious as Ramanoop has shown, but after a while you can detect it.
