Just wondering if there are busy/less busy times of the year for WGs.  I guess there must be, but what are they?

Its quite unpredictable if you ask me.Sometimes the school hols can be a bit quieter and just after Christmas as well.

I think it depends on the state of the economy; whether the local football team has won; the price of beer in the nearby pubs; and the availability of a wide range of WG's who might be available at the requisite time!

I've noticed that between Christmas Eve and the New Year, plus Easter are the times when many girls are less busy. Why do I say this? This is when I tend to notice a lot more 'offers' being advertised, so it is a good time to pick up a deal and in the longer term, perhaps establish a good regular at a decent rate. Well, this is my experience anyway!

I've headed off to work away at this time of year (last few days of December/first week of January-ish), and if you know where to go it's very busy as a lot of the foreign ladies go home for Christmas - I don't doubt for one minute there's more special offers to be had, but I suspect it's more down to women needing to earn more money than usual for Christmas bills than things being that much quieter. The run up to Christmas itself is always busy too, and it's fun when everybody's in a good mood :).

There's no real pattern to it as everybody's different and so much depends on location, prices and what hours you work and so on - I do OK in summer because I live in a holiday resort, whereas other ladies I know will dread the school holidays. The February half term seems to be consistently the worst week of the year and has been for as long as I remember; I suppose the Christmas credit card statements have come and the weather's miserable so people are either skint or go on holiday.

I usually take most of February off anyway because it's crap, but I've got a New York tour booked for next year plus a Caribbean holiday and a film festival weekend, so I'm looking forward to it for a change :P.

Jan and Feb everyone is skint so it's a quiet time

On the run up to Christmas it's generally busy for them for two reasons - 1) it's the only time of year partnered guys can 'escape' on the pretence of secretly buying presents - and spend a bit of money without being questioned what on and 2) The girls themselves are promoting themselves more as they too have Christmas to pay for.

That's a good point. Perhaps the prime motivating factor is to generate more income during the festive season. Oops, I had missed that! :o  :D

However, that wouldn't necessarily account for the Boxing Day or Easter Deals I often see. I suspect an additional factor in girls making offers, is that many punters are married or attached, so will be with the families during the holiday period. This means a potential loss of income to the WG and therefore an additional need, for some, to incentivise. Of course, only a WG can really know this, so I'm happy to bow to their better judgement!

I don't punt many WGs that go on New York tours and sun it up in the Caribbean, so of course, you may well be a notable exception to the general rule or are clearly a lot more savvy with your money! :P

I can only speak for MK really but on the whole March is a fairly shite month here pretty much most years. Christmas is extremely  busy but as the recession wore on the christmas rush which used to start at the end of november slowly moved further into december. It usually lasts till the end of January I assume as people are attempting to push away the depression of another entire year stretching ahead of them fully equipped with the knowledge that each passing year makes that next one seem pass faster and faster. People like to hold on to the party season for as long as possible. Febuary is ok then March ....sluuuump then back to normal x

Next year, I am holidaying in March, it seems logical to me x

I usually take christmas eve, christmas day, boxing day and new years day off, I did have places for bookings last new years day though and they all cancelled on the morning. I think those holiday days can be unpredictable for everyone, sudden family arriving as a "surprise", suddenly being roped into a nice cosy friends or family dinner or simply getting so smashed on new years eve that the planned new year punt they were so looking forward too becomes about as appealing physically as a 15 mile jog through cold icy mud due to a hangover.

To the OP.......another question which has been asked several times..... hey ho.

I can only answer for myself and there is no real pattern to busy or quiet times of the year.

That was a nice short answer.   :)

To be honest I am not sure really if I have been busy or quiet at certain times of the year since december when I came back to it. I can only judge by my own earnings week to week. I dont really have anyone to compare with so what i call busy my in reality be quiet compared to other mk indies or what i call quiet may in fact be busy. I can only judge by what I have good knowledge of which was the parlour ups and downs although my year so far has pretty much gone along with their traditional ups and downs for the most part so it must be an across the board think here.

There is only one month of the year that you can almost guarantee to be quiet, and that is February, when the credit card hits!.

That is the month to go on holiday if you are an escort and recharge the batteries and get a nice tan! Because you wont be missing much at home.
