Have Some London Agencys Lost The Plot With Photoshop

40 posts in this topic

Looked at some of the ladies on 'Agency Barracuda' and it looks like none of them are real. Looks like either all the ladies are going to the same Photoshop guru or else the agency has lost touch with its customers. I don't want to see cindy dolls on the website. In a strange way it disgusts me. Am I so easily amused by fakery. It's more like those Japenese cartoons where all the women are absurdly perfect. I like a little imperfection.

So bring back the photographic art. A little mood lighting. Some sexy lingeries. Ditch the computer geeks. I will be contacting trading standards in due course.

You have been warned!

Anyone care to name and shame agencies notorious for this, for everyone's benefit?

Someone mentioned Supreme69 were bad for this. Is that true?

normally you can tell the cindy dolls photoshops from the real photos. Would much rather have real photos any day

LOL! I recently saw one ladies before and after pics.   Strange because I think there is a wide enough market for the way she really is.  Photoshop gave her an hour-glass figure.  I saw the after pics first and was naively musing on how good she's looking.  Then came across the original versions and thought "oops!".

Well spotted JustAnotherMan. It's like there is a black hole distorting spacetime. I wonder where that singularity could be (answers on a postcard)?

There was an article in the Times (that I didn't read). There were three headshot photographs of an Asian woman. One untouched, one slightly photoshopped and the third 'perfection'. The unfortunate problem is that the untouched photo (for me) wasn't 'nice' to look at, I kept thinking she needs to see a plastic surgeon. I suppose that is why Photoshopping will never disappear. It's because men lust after perfection. To be honest women are the same, they want to have babies with pretty boys. It is in our DNA. Perfection of the species aka natural selection.

However I must say that a woman that makes me laugh is more attractive to me longer term (anything longer than 15 minutes in my case).

I met a lady of Russian heritage on my travels. What can I do for you? she asks. Sing to me, I say. That always gets a strange look. No, she says, when I sing birds die. Now that's what I call poetry & funny. I'm still tickled by it.

Berksboy, sometimes it is difficult to tell if photographs have been photoshopped - at least if it is done well - so you wont realise until you meet face to face. Then you may say that perhaps they were a few years ago and she has put on a few pounds. Some would turn and walk, others would suck it and see (so to speak).

The issue I have is that the photoshopping seems to be driven by the agencies. I think they may offer it to their girls as part of the service. What do you do if photoshopping  is on every photograph, on every woman. Do you avoid the agency?

I also think the same 'management' run several agencies (websites), you have to figure out which are linked to avoid photoshopping reliably.

There are some websites ('House of Devine' springs to mind) that seems to show honest photographs & have reliable (well realistic) stats such as age.

The problem is that it is becoming more difficult to get honest pictures. I suppose we - the punters - are as much at fault as the agencies because they are only giving us what we want to see.

I guess establishments such as HOD should be applauded more and perhaps the other 'photoshop' websites may change (or at least control their photoshop guru).

Up until last year HOD were in fact lying about their WGs ages and sizes as their boss Mr Divine posted on here, only when i posted i didnt agree with lying did he pledge to be honest from then on. Now you might think that was a good thing for punters, it wasnt for some who decided to lay into me. Thats punters having a go at ME over saying i required honesty, you couldnt make it up.

I dont punt through Agencies nowadays after being ripped off and lied to in the past, and in London at least they charge more than i am prepared to pay. So yes some Agencies have lost the plot with photoshop in my view but how many punters care i wonder. All i want is the WG to look like her photos because if i dont fancy the real her in the flesh i would be walking nowadays and going to my plan B option.

Smiths, so you're to blame for HOD. Well done for that.

I cannot see why punters would not want to see correct age & other stats. Perhaps it spoils the illusion. Now, I could see why the ladies would object. No lady is entirely comfortable about her age and I could see that in an age focussed industry it will have an impact on earnings. But well done to yourself and HOD for breaking the agency mold (or should that be mould?.....both probably)

Good idea to have a plan B. I expect it makes walking away a little easier but I tend to take the rough with the smooth. But that's because I'm a fool when it comes to women.

Yes I think it's silly but it's market forces or it's human nature or that's life or whatever.  It's in the girl's interest to lie as much as possible to get you through the door instead of a more honest girl.

If you fancy the girl in the picture but don't fancy the girl when you meet her, walk away, that's all we can do.

For me if the pictures look to good I give them a miss and look for pictures that a normal person would take as then you normally get what you like.

I do not like the cult of youth or the obsession with large breasts. I think a 30 plus woman is in her prime and knocks the socks of the 20 somethings. So I would prefer totally realistic pictures, always granting that a woman will make sure the best pics are chosen.

So I dislike photoshopping and always prefer WYSIWYG

I used to look at HODpixx on twitter and was quite surprised by how different the girls looked to their professional pics. A lot of them looked a lot better.

Very true but HOD and the other establishments linked to them still insist on photoshopping .........

Crazy as like you say (some) look better without it.

Honestly, basic photo shopping is ok, like correcting shadows etc on your face, but I do feel myself, that some places have gone OTT.

I have spent an evening a while ago with a bunch of Latin escorts! OMG.... most of their pictures were photo shopped beyond recognition! They were telling me, that the agencies won't take them on, if they don't look like Barbie dolls!!!! And as it seems, the better a photographer it is at photoshopping, the more they charge and the busier they are!!!

Realistically they're going to remove spots and get the ladies to pose or have bits of clothing to hide large tattoos. But I don't see the point in setting the expectations so high, so you're going to be disappointed. I have usually not seen face photos before a punt and I have usually been pleased -once or twice stunned.

No I don't think its in the girls best interests to lie at all. If you lie about age, what you look like and what services you offer you quickly get a shit reputation.

I just checked out Agency barracuda - who knew there were so many perfect girls living and working in London? (even if their heads don't seem to belong to their bodies...)

Bibi, I think us guys can put up with a little age manipulation. Age is in the eye of the beholder....especially when wearing a miniskirt (not me silly....well sometimes!)

Personally I think Photoshopping is a cheaper version of a boob job. Even women with perfectly fine boobs talk about (or has that gone out of fashion after all the silicon scares?) going up in size. I don't know if it is to improve their self esteem or for the men. Perhaps a form of peer pressure. If all your friends smoke then you are more likely to smoke. Same with Photoshopping, even ladies with fine bods will succumb because the less genetically lucky gals can 'catch up' using computer wizardry.

The only other option is to look for verification photographs - which can also be Photoshopped of course. That's what us guys want. A bit of fantasy intermingled with real life.

Agencies don't do the photoshopping, the photographers do.

Often the girls don't get any option, this is what they are provided with.  Some photographers don't want anyone to see original photos with their flaws.

Sometimes girls are heavier and want to be slimmer.  Sometimes older and want to be younger.

And sometimes girls look nothing like their photos and we don't put their photos up.
