Aw

Hi, Does anyone use or recommend locating a WG on AW, (I think also known as the purple site?) Only I've just searched their under 'escorts', popped in a 5 mile radius on the basis of my post-code, selected 'available today' and was rather taken by a WG calling herself 'Amber-Blu'. Very tempted, as I'm usually a 'parlour' man myself, and although I've had many punts using other methods, I have never used this service. Seems that the system comes up with the right results, with phone numbers, but there's always the fear that the ad is not genuine, and they have used a photograph of someone else, or you could end up in some dark place, like a tower block with a lift that stinks of urine. Comments and advice welcome.

I have used the AW / purple site on a number of occasions and, so far at least, haven't had any "unfortunate" experiences of the sort you mention.

Having said that, I tend to stick to Oriental girls and avoid the Eastern Europeans (particularly the Romanians) as their adverts (in my experience) tend to be genuine.

I've also been tempted by Amber-Blu so would also welcome any comments about her.

I can't comment on the likelihood, or otherwise, of you ending up somewhere not at all salubrious, but you should consider the locations given on the webpage as being very general (ie not very specific).

I have had examples of a WG giving her Post Code in AW as (for example) AB1.  When you contact her you find that she actually works out of AB4 which might well be in the same town but at the opposite end of it.

As ever it is a case of Caveat Emptor

I've had the same experience with post codes but most of the girls I have seen in Birmingham recently have been in B1, B3 or B16 which are relatively close to each other so its not been a huge problem.

As far as premises are concerned, the girls I have seen have all operated from modern apartments with safe (for Birmingham) parking close by. If I went to see a girl and found that the premises / area were less than salubrious or in any way felt unsafe then there is no way that I would go ahead with the appointment.

It's Amber Blu for those getting blank search results...

I happened to look at her a few days ago.

Now that you ask, the fb looks very good indeed so hopefully no real risk of someone popping in and reporting back on here.

Had that experience today. Website states that the girl I was interested in (who has excellent reviews) is based in B1. I emailed to see if I could get a more precise location and was told she's actually in Stechford. Not a huge distance away from the city centre but hugely inconvenient as I was on a tight time schedule.

Ho, hum - better luck next time.

thats nowt.  I have seen girls on AW who have GL postcodes but are in Glasgow.  (GL is Gloucester).  I have seen NG and NN confused (Nottingham and Northampton)

British postcodea are quite specific as to location.  Abroad, postcodes cover quite large areas.  In Brussels they define a commune, an area like a london borough, so foreign girls may nopt understand getting the postcode right is important.

birmingham postcodes are awkward... b1 is right in the city centre (broad st), jewellery quarter is both b3 and b18, yet it is actually closer to broad street than new street is... which is b2.... you can just tell a brummie made the postcode areas!!!

to be honest though, alot of girls on aw will put their postcode as b1, usually because it gets searched for more and is in greater demand by the travelling business man who is in town for the day, other times though... its because they mainly work from city centre hotels etc :) xx

I always like correcting people's English like when they write English without an upper case E.

I have few friends...

That's like remembering to pull your parachute cord one of the two times you jump out of a plane...

I should talk, either every keyboard I use is switched over to predictive text or I have started picturing word spellings as just similar looking words and not the ones I wanted.

Lucky if all else is failing I can still take a young lady to heaven. It's just remembering where I put her to be able to bring her back that can be an issue.

A sad reflection on the state of the education system in this country.

Without wishing to go over ground that is covered in another thread, if a girl provides misleading information about her location, what other misleading information will she supply?

the odd thing about some Birmingham postcodes actually stretch quite far out to south midlands and into Worcestershire as for misleading... I don't actually put my actual street postcode. I put a destination 3 minutes from my working location .Basically because I don't want non genuine clients trawling up and down my street ...

then there are DY, WV and WS close by, and solihull and sutton are still B.  Redditch and tamworth are B but Nuneaton, Leamington & stratford are CV.  then there are the WR ones round worcester.

in reality the initial letter of a postcode does not tell you much.

BD and LA and DL postcodes cover the yorkshire dales, and PA covers scottish islands out to Islay and Jura.

I use wiki to find information about postcode areas to see which ones are nearby.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PA_postcode is an example.

Sorry to bang on about this but I have had yet more examples of a completely misleading postcode.

The first was a couple of weeks ago. I phoned to make a booking with a Thai girl said to be located in B3 which was ideal for me - pay and display car park nearby and only a five minute walk to where I was going after the punt. Got a text with the address - Wolverhampton! Yes, I know I should have asked when I rang and yes I know that the Thai girls move around a lot but when I got home and checked on AW she was still shown as being in B3.

Then, at the weekend, I contacted an EE girl who advertises as being located in B1. Yes, I know this covers a wide area but anywhere in B1 was fine for me. However, having been caught out last time, this time, I asked for the location before making the booking - good job too as she is actually located in Smethwick which made the planned punt a complete non-starter.

Am I the only person on the planet who gets pissed off by this sort of thing?

I just saw a day or so ago someone who actually put in the profile that she just put B1 for advertising and was actually in B whatever.

At least she let us know, however.

I suspect the general practice can only proliferate which is a shame but at least punters will become used to getting the location verified as a matter of course.

Back to Amber Blu - anyone followed up and had a good, bad or unconsumated experience with her?

birmingham postcodes are wierd.

Most cities, the 1 postcode is the city.  So LS1 is leeds city centre, BS1 is Bristol city centre.

But what i regard as central brum is carved into B1 to B5.  New St station, where most think the centre is is in b2, and Moor Street in B5

Can sort of understand why a girl who is advertising she is on cent brum not wanting to put B5 as her postcode

There again MK9 is central MK

Postcodes are a tool for delivering letters, not for finding hookers!
