Agencies Who Post Reviews

13 posts in this topic

Doing my research for then next punt and I'm checking out agencies. Quite a few post reviews of their girls and let us assume for the sake of arguement they are pretty genuine. Some girls seem to get lots of reviews whilst others get none. I assume the no review girls are getting clients or they would be let go, no? The question is, do agencies try to get reviews for these girls by asking clients or do they just not bother? There is one agency that offers to knock a tenner off your next punt if you submit

I'd say most reviews are genuine, simply because I have written a few myself and seen them published.  I have noticed that good reviews tend to stay around forever, whereas sometimes bad reviews may just disappear off the site at some point in the future (not always).

Unless a girl works directly for an agency, receiving benefits such as free or discounted accommodation and other services in exchange for giving up half of their fees, it really doesn't cost much to keep a girl on a website.  For this reason, girls may still be on an agencies books with no reviews, or even bad reviews.  They may remain on the books even if they only rarely get a booking request.  It doesn't really make a difference to them and every booking is pure profit.

If a girl is working in Central London, she is probably going to get some bookings irrespective of the quality of service provided.

If the girl is independent, or on an agency website by request of her 'managing' agency, the marketing agency will earn a fixed fee or percentage of the fee for each booking made, and if the marketing agency don't really suffer any costs if no booking is made, why not keep them on the books?

Some of these agencies have more than 150 girls on their lists so they really only care about their total fee income, not how it is distributed between the girls.  Of course, if there is a 'managing' agency behind the girl, they may get pissed off if they are forking out rent and not getting any fee income.  This is probably more due to girls taking time off and not working than for lack of reviews though.

No agency has ever approached me to ask for a review for a girl, nor has any agency girl asked me to write a review for that matter.  I have occasionally discussed it with an agency girl, if I like her a lot, and maybe even asked for her approval of what I intend to say before I submit it.  The girls do tend to want reviews on the whole, but I don't recollect ever being actually asked to write one.  It has always been when I have raised the subject.

The £10 off thing (Invasion?) is just another marketing gimmick.

Needless to say, but you get a better hit rate of good punts with the girls with plenty of good reviews.

A while ago I booked a girl off AW who later went on to join an agency. I continued seeing her a couple of times outside of the agency as she would still accept private bookings. Just before she went on an extended break I had a look at her reviews on the agency website and very good they were too. Except that on the dates and times of the two of the reviews she was with me on private bookings, one of which was an overnight so there's no way she was working for the agency at any time during that period. Also the bookings with me were 40 - 50 miles away from where the agency bookings allegedly took place.

It's possible the writers got their dates / times mixed up, but I have my doubts. When reading different reviews they all seem to be written in the same style, irrespective of who wrote the review. So while the agency seem legit in that the girls are as described on their site, and the pics accurate as far as the girl I knew, I'd take their "reviews" with a large pinch of salt.

Ah, so there is no downside for the agency to show non productive girls. In fact it presents them a having a very large portfolio!

I take most reviews with a pinch of salt and sometimes am attracted to dull ones. "She takes no interest in Downton Abbey and tries to read me patches of poetry to me!" or "She loves young men like me and would be a handful fro a real stud" etc

Henceforth I shall trust reviews from Thurson and continue to treat all others with a degree of scepticism.

Very sensible.  Unfortunately, I don't always write them under the Thurson moniker.

In that case, my scepticism will have to continue unabated

I thought all reviews were made in China like everything else!

Agencies can write reviews for their girls. Some punters in the forums are escort agencies promoting their own business.

This has been mentioned before and several guys who've done FRs have said that they put the wrong date and time down for security reason, ie wives won't be able to link them to the time and date given.

I have no problem with agencies who offer this sort of thing..  it's good for the punter and good for the girl and of course ultimately - good for the agency.    I think you can spot the review written by a webmaster or an agency because the writing style is always similar no matter how much they try to make the review look honest by using typos and poor spelling.  Until recently there were loads of fake reviews for ladies in Leeds and York - all of them written by one person and it had been going on for years - before I came on the scene, but it has all stopped now.

If people can get away with writing fakes then good for them, but not at the expense of the punter who books a girl in good faith only to find the review is not representative of the girl.  Then it is a rip off. It's up to the reader to decide and of course reviews are subjective anyway.

Good point, I'd not seen it mentioned before.

I'm still a bit dubious about some of the reviews on there as the syntax would suggest several were written by the same person, when they are all allegedly by different people.
